Warts and herpes are not that similar. HPV virus lives in your skin, that's why you get warts or cancer. The HSV (herpes) virus is in your blood and lies dormant in the CNS (central nervous system). Men and women both can show signs of herpes and warts via lesions. Almost 80% of sexually active women have been exposed to HPV. Most clear the virus before they knew they were even infected. HPV can either cause cancer or warts depending onw hich type you contracted. There are blood tests available to test if you been exposed to HSV1 and HSV 2 called the Herpeselect. You have to ASK for the test because it is not administered as part of a routine check-up. You can only detect HPV if you have warts or through a pelvic exam if you have the cancer causing type. All I can tell you is to get checked for EVERYTHING before you have sex and stay having safe sex. |

warts and herpes are very similar. Both are viruses, and no virus is curable. HIV, Hipititis, HPV-warts, Herpes, and the FLU is also a virus none of these have a cure you can only take medication to supress them. HIV and HIPITITIS are fatal, the rest are only pests and they maybe painful. You can still catch these virus using a condom especially the Herpese Virus is 100% transmitted from skin to skin and wet surfaces, so condoms will NOT help. HPV-Human Papiloma Virus and Herpes do not affect Males, on the other hand women who have HPV will develop cervical cancer and women who have Herpese may need to have a C-section when they give birth because the baby can be born with Herpes or Blind if she has natural birth. HPV can not be cured, however, like the common cold it will go away on its own. Do your research. Herpes, I can't say the same. |
