I have a hard time believing that his mother would only want him to marry a black woman since his mother is white. And such a sweet lady! Potsie is SUCH a nice guy, he definitely isn't caught up in the scene as much as someone like Parker. |

I wasn't into FB either, well watching it religiously... but after meeting him, I'll be watching him on the field this year. He told me all I need to watch is the superbowl, but any game he has, Im Tivo'n it. Lol |

I've meet James before and yes he is very nice, sweet and eye candy. He does a lot for charity and I for one respect that. I'm not much of a FB fan. Honestly , I've been in Pgh for 10 years and the Steelers are just now starting to hit my radar. Game time was always a good time to get errands done. Despite know ing a few of the players...I never really got caught up in the whole groupie thing. Found this site by mistake. |

I hate to say it, but from the jump I got the impression that W. Gay and another guy that was there ( I can't remember his name) but James told me the guy used to play with them but he got fired. LOL. James even cracked up laughing when he said it, so I did too, but I told him that wasn't nice, and he's like its true. Lol. The guy plays for the cardinals now I think. But Gay, you can tell he's young. Somewhat young acting, and the other guy was so hot, he laid out on the floor outside. It was funny. But he was grumpy bc he was so hot. James is too cute and his presence seems so big in person vs his pics. Not big as in fat, but tall and possibly intimidating, but his smile gives it away. The instant I saw him and the guys walking my way my eyes met his and I just watched him. He looked right back at me. It was so hot! We kept looking at each other and he smiled and I smiled and then when we went outside to take the pics was when he started talking to me. Sigh. I'm a loser for not trying to holla at him more. I was trying to appear cool and not a groupie. Haha. Sigh. ~Drooler |

Yea I know. When James told me Williams name ( cause I had no idea who they were), I laughed. I couldn't help it. I tried to be professional, but some things you just can't control. At least James got a smile out of it :) William Gay was busy posing for the pics and then he went to the car and got his superbowl ring so they could take pics of his ring and take more pics of him and so on. Taylor was quiet. He sat down and was messing around on his phone. He looked somewhat serious. He spoke to me and I would respond but not enough to keep a convo going, I was too busy talking to Farrior. haha. Continued..... Drooler |

To the FL poster...How was Taylor and Gay? Ike is known for having several, yes, I'm talking dozens of women at the same time. He is a TOTAL player on and off the field. Nice enough you just need to know the time your keeping with this one. No idea about Gay. However that name has me ROFLMAO every time I see it. |

Oh ok. I wish I could've seen the older posts. Thanks for sharing. And ur right, we'll never know the real story. When u google him though, nothing comes up about him and a girlfriend. Its like its hush hush or something. I'm the one that met him and asked the question. He was really nice and funny. Just laid back, like a normal guy. I forgot to mention how he was telling me he needed to get a manicure and pedicure, showed me his nails, and cracks on me and says.. look, their longer than yours. LOL. Funny guy. ~Drooler, lol |

I really wish there was a way to access some of the older posts. There are several "insiders" who claim that she wants to get married, but he is well known for dating women for a long time and never asking them to marry. There were also some comments about how his family doesn't like her and hopes they don't marry. I've heard that his mother wants him to marry a black woman. Again, you have to take all this with a grain of salt, since we will probably never know the real story. And I am so jealous of the woman who met him in FL. He sounds like he is a real gentleman. Thanks for sharing! |

He is extremely nice and has a good disposition. He doesn't act conceited or act as though everyone should kiss the ground he is walking on. He was teasing me and just cracking jokes with me. Ike Taylor asked where I was from and then James started talking about NY with me. We talked about a few things, general conversation and I just thought it was cool that he would tease me about some of the things I was telling him. It was like talking to one of your homies. Then when he was getting ready to leave with the guys, cause Gay, Taylor and a few others were around, he politely shook my hand and told me it was great meeting me and talking to me. And thats when my lil crush began. Lol |

He and Jenn are still together. She was a great athlete in college I think it was. I guess it's not him who isn't willing to marry-it's her. But I haven't heard anything recently so maybe they are engaged. I just know that she recently returned from spending a long time in Florida with him. |
