Palmer is the worst QB in the NFL flatout. He makes so many rookie mistakes and stupid throws that it is rediculous. I could make better reads than him. I am an allout Bengals fan and it is time to move on to a new quarterback. On top of everything else, CP is just stupid, real stupid.  Amazingly stupid for a 7-year vet, or is it 8.  He makes mistakes you wouldn't expect a rookie QB to make, he's regressed not physically but mentally.  All the killer pick 6s are the sign of a stupid qb.  The horrible time mgt skills, remember the end of the 1st halp against the Panthers, or the end of the Saints game when he's trying to line up a spike with 10 seconds left and one time out.  An 8th grade middle school kid could time manage these situations better than CP.  Yes his arm is dead.  Yes he can't move.  Yes his baby brother wouldn't be given a sniff by any other team in the league but somehow is the backup which means there's nobody to threaten CP into thinking he may be benched this year.  However, mentally he's an absoute moron in terms of nfl qb knowledge.  The Bengals are 2-11 with a team that is supposedly loaded with offensive talent.  Palmer, more than anyone, is responsible for this mess.  I hope the Browns kill the Bengals tomorrow, and I'm a Bengals fan.  At this point, I want them to fail, it's our only hope for Brown to realize to blow this thing up after the season.  Trade Palmer for a 4th or 5th round pick, draft a qb with th first pick, pick-up a real vet qb that's serviceable for a year or two.  How much more does Brown need to see to realize CP is done.

All need to go...is time for a fresh start...I've seen the o line hold plenty of times and carson still throw into triple coverage or never audible out of a run if a blitz is being shown. Brown does need to become hungry for some wins and do what he needs to do as team owner. Bring in a coach not some one who wants to play dad to troubled players and not a bargain basement coach either. Carson gave up yesterday.  It takes two or three guys to sack Ben.  Yesterday I saw him get pulled down by one arm.  He is busy watching the rush and that's why he got picked 3 times.  He lost all heart in the second half and just wants the season over with.

Palmer's biggest problem is the his cement feet, even the other pocket passers ( Manning, Brady and Brees) move up and around in the pocket. Whenever the Steelers need to stop the Bengals they just dial up blitz and cement feet is bull rushed ..it is pathetic. You want to beat Pitt...keep their D on the field for awhile like last season, they are all getting older and sustaining the energy is hard to do over 6 to 8 minute drives. I am tired of Pitt fans screaming dominance when Cleve and Cincinnati have been almost guaranteed door mats for 4 wins in the division. Either way Palmer needs to be Bledsoed out, just like it was hard to believe Drew was done Carson is too. This game is speed with either your feet or your release.

I think MIKE BROWN SUCKS, he has no command over his team. Look at what the dallas cowboys owner did to their head coach, he's looking for a job right now. The Bengals defense is being exhausted from having to play all the time because Carson Palmer hands the ball off to the visiting team, its outragous when he makes his lovely "excuses" after the game saying we missed something. Heres a great fix for the bengals #1 new ownership and or manager #2 Fire the head coach and offensive coach #3 Get rid of carson palmer and his brother, you can blame the pocket all you want, but if the quarter back does not see the blitz and does not shift the o-line, thats his fault, really i think if you know your offensive cordinator sucks why let him pick the plays!? At his best, he was just ok.  How many "weapons" does he need?  HE has to be the weapon.  You're doing any QB a disservice claiming they need to have the best receivers, offensive line, rushers, coaches, etc to be successful.  The great ones overcome weaknesses and still manage to win.  Palmer doesn't.  It's time accept the truth.

Palmer needs to go.  And take Marvin Loses with you.

His career has really been affected by the knee injury in the playoff game vs. Pittsburgh a few years ago.  He's recovered physically but not mentally, it seems and hasn't ever again shown the promise he did before that.  I understand people wanting to be loyal to their QB but to say he's "still one of the best" is just nonsense.

yea carson is terrible. i love the bengals and i am a huge fan, and every game i used to have hope but they are seriously terrible. carson needs shoulder surgery and wont admit it.

palmer hasnt been the same since his knee injury. he cant get it done anymore. he has lost the mental capability to perform at the highest level. we should draft a QB in the draft or trade for one. either way palmer should be done in cincy along with mike brown
