Chris Myers

Myers was the first person insufferable enough to make me actually sympathize with Hartman. After listening to a couple excrutiating shows, I switched to ESPN and with Andrew Siciliano an Mychal Thompson.

 I do like the new Loose Cannons with Hartman, Pat O'Brien and Vic The Brick. Although with Myers gone, I'm back to hating Hartman but it's part of the dynamic. It works.

Well, it seems that on the week of May 10th, 570 KLAC's midday broadcasting went back to local sports, albeit really only Lakers talk, with Steve Hartman, Sean Farnham and Vic the Brick.  Hartman stated that this will continue until the Laker run is over.  Of course, I don't know if this means that when the Laker season is over that they go back to national sports talk, or maybe become a local show again, talking about other teams like the Dodgers, the Angels, UCLA, USC, etc.

Now, I haven't been following 570 as I use to since they made the switch to national sports talk, but in going there every now and then, I was surprised that I haven't heard Chris Myers of late.  Have all of our prayers really been answered?!

And of course, Myers' latest and greatest statement, knocking both Katrina victims and the Latino community - oh sure, I'm dying to have him back! (LOL!)

“My best is and maybe it’s a little corny, but I like it. It’s a great country here. We have disastrous issues where people pull together and help themselves and I thought the people in Tennessee, unlike and I’m not going to name names. When a natural disaster hits people were not standing on a rooftop trying to blame the government, okay, they helped each other out through this.”

“Middle Tennessee where a lot of hardworking, tax-paying, legal American citizens have been affected by the floods and are trying to rebuild their lives and they are helping out and I think that other people around the country, of course the music industry in and around Nashville helping, without making a big deal out of it and I think that’s a good thing.”

I certainly hope he is gone for good from the 570 KLAC airwaves Yes, Chris Myers is indeed an idiot, but worse, I always thought he was rather dull as well.

Is there anything we can do? AAArgh

he is a sideline reporter, after years in the business that is the best he can do? 

Myers is good when he talks about sports which is rarely.

He and hartman are such hollywood wannabes that the show ALWAYS degenerates into talking about the crap that is shown on TMZ.

They both need to go.

Why does Hartman kiss his ass? It is awful.  One thing about Hartman, when he was in San Diego he used to rip Tony Gwynn and Mike Piazza. When they showed up to be interviewed by him he folded like a chair. All talk no action. He could redeem himself by telling Myers to shut up.  I just sent an email to clear channel that I stopped listening. The station now sucks.

He really sounds like a bitter old man that gets all pissy when someone has a different opinion than him  Too old school for the times now...Spare us all and reitre ASAP.

PS. Stop stuttering and saying uuuuuuh...you sound like a moron.

He has ZERO credibility! He defends anybody and everybody that he knows.  He always tells Hartman to get his facts straight but Myers doesn’t even know any facts about anything except Hall & Oats.  He feels better about himself when he name drops which he does at least 10 times today even though it has nothing to do with what they are discussing.  He was raised and brought up the two corporate radio giants.  Obviously, his loyalty lies with the company and is a puppet to the decision makers.  They also need to get Bruce Jacobs off the air because he has no idea what he’s talking about and is always wrong.  I can’t believe I would ever say this but I miss MT.  There is actually one guy that stutters more than MT and that’s Chris Myers.  We all need to come together and petition clear channel to get him off the air.  I have an email address and cell number for the Director of 570.  Let me know if any of you want start emailing/calling and I’ll post the number and email address.  We need to take back the Cannons and kick out Myers so he can go back to NASCAR and ruining marriage proposals on the national TV!

I can't believe that I have finally found a sanctuary to rant about what a DOUCHE' Chris Meyers is! He is a corporate programing TOOL that regurgitates what his clear channel masters have programed into his head. I get chills everytime I hear him attempting to banter with Money or Petros and they just destroy him. Just curious, how long do you think this DORK practiced his cheesy "Radio Voice' when he was a kid? Long live the "REAL" Loose Cannons!
