matt was the starting qb yesterday and he did such a great job!His touchdown pass was really great! It is so sad how long he waited to come in and play and get hurt quickly like that and be out for the season :'( He did so good I think he proved he is a starting qb in the nfl and a team who doesn't have any good starters on their team need to get him next season cause he looked really really good and the touchdown leinart!

douche bag erik ainge's, cleat chasing, gold digging ex girlfriend is trying to date Leinart, rachel adams.  She is playing the I'm a goodie good christian outdoorsy girl next door role to snag him, which by the way WAS NOT how she was at UT.  She was the red lipstick, fake eyelashes at a football game, dating the qb for her meal ticket kind of girl.  All of the UT fball players and eriks friends didn't like her because they knew her motives weren't good and Leinart is now into this chick...Seriously this dude is an idiot, quit going for cleat chasing girls Matt.

Yeah but there are many college QBs who do not make it into the pros. Like Ryan Leaf, Alex Smith, etc and I think Leinart did to much partying and did not take football serously and it paying the price. He shoukl go to vikes

Alot of people have forgotten how good he was in college.....including myself for that matter. But he is still a viable trade option now that all these teams see exactly what they have in their "future star QB". Pittsburgh is ( im sure) looking at their possibility of aquiring him to a backup roll. He might jump to get out of the NFC west. He and Roth...think about it.

I think Wrecks Grossman is with the Redskins and being that McNabb hurt his ankle they are not sure if he is going to start the first game. The problem is Leinart did not have the luxury Aaron Rodgers had of not starting right away and learning behind a HOF quarter back like Favre. That is why Rodgers is so good now. If he had gone to the 49ners and started early like ALex Smith Rodgers might not be as good as he is now. But I agree with the last commenter that Leinart should be the starter

Cards should have primed matt as the starter, fit the offense around him, and let the season begin. Matt is a winner. He would have made the Cardinals a winner. Know one knows what he can really do.He needs that shot to start the season, then see how far he can take the Cards. Anderson should be the backup, ready to play when needed. They knew what they were going to do with Matt all along. thats what sucks. When you dont even have the head Coach in your corner, that hurts. Dont blame Matt for any of this. Now they have to let him go, Matt doesnt want play for a team that doesnt want him. I am no longer a fan of the cardinals, they are wrong.
