SEA/SF game just ended. Last two SEA possessions, TJ is undecisive and holds the ball too long, gets stripped from behind and allows SF to make a field goal and take control of the game by 2 points. Last possession for SEA, possible chance to win it by geting to field goal range or at least try to make it a game, TJ on 4th and 3, THROWS IT AWAY ! WHAT you may be saying ? Wow I can't believe someone made a forum for this and whoever thinks that he is proven to be bad look at the 08 season in Minnesota when he actually was able to start and not taken out after one bad pass, he averaged a QBR of 107 that year he has never has a coach that believes in him and technically by QBR rating ifs the best qb in the NFC WEST right now even higher than Alex Smith. Give the poor guy a chance you all sound like new York fans and a true hawk fan knows that's not what this fan base is about we support our team!

the seahawks beat the ravens and the giants this season while jackson was under center. Charlie should not be the starting quarterback. he got his chance and didn't even trow for 100 yards in a loss to cleveland, then after throwing god knows how many interceptions the next week in cinch, jackson comes in and throws for 325 yards without even playing in the majority of the first half. Not only that, but charlie never targets sidney rice, the best seattle receiver by FAR. If you want someone to blame, blame the offensive line, or blame PETE CARROL!!!!!!!!!

Tavaris Jackson is a mediocre quaterback at best. He is a two time loser, the only Mistake Carrol made was signing him. We should have stuck with Whitehurst, Whitehurst maybe unproven, Tavavis has proven and continues to prove that he is a loser!!!. Two interceptions in the first quater, throwing the ball into the arms of the Rams!!!! Color has nothing to do with it. My Sympathies go with Marshon Lynch, who has to kill himself to save the game, because of his worthless Bro Jackson.

Everyone is doubtful about jackson. He passed for 320 yards and 3 td's against atlanta, one of the best teams in the NFC. he can be a good nfl qb, but he needs good o-lineman, as well as a coach with half a brain

Jacksons reflexes may have gotten him through the college ranks......but it kind of reminds me of watching forrest gump play korterbak lol. I think that says it all. I think the vikes even tried out ponder before T-sack got the nod again. Maybe T-sack would do better on dancing with the stars than runnin the show for my HAWKS. I'm certain that carrol is dumping this season in favor of the #1 draft pick next season. Hopefully its not that stanford QB cuz he looks like Byron Leftwich's twin with his mobility and decision making. I could get the Seahawks playing like the mean sob's they are for a fraction of Carols salary and not have to take a dive this season either. Kolb or McNabb should have landed in SeaTown. I watched TJ as a viking fan and when Childress alowed him to throw on early downs he had ok to good games, but he was asked to hand the ball off most of the time.  When he took off and ran he was at his best.

Anyone who has seen him actually play, knows better.

Lets wait until TJ plays in game 1 before we knock his play.  Preseason means nothing!  In minnesota all he did was hand the ball off to AP.  I think he will be ok in the west if the line plays better than they did in preseason.

Being a Packer fan I was very sad to see Tavaris let go.  As long as he was qb for the vikes, we were assured a win every Sunday we played them.  I don't think TJ would have made the Packer's practice squad.  He is that bad!  Coaches get paid millions to make roster moves.  How could

I like Jackson and think he could be a good player in seattle.  I think the biggest question is how long can he stay healthy with seattles offensive line.  I have watched all 3 of the preseason games and Jackson has been running for his life in all of them.  When he has had time he looked ok.

I was hoping with Brad Childress gone that TJ would be given the chance to show us what he could do.  TJ had a very high QB rating when allowed to throw the ball on early downs, but under Childress he liked run on 1st, run on 2nd, and make the QB run for his life on 3rd.  I watched him throw the ball in Mankato and his passes were great.  While Sage passes were weak and he could not hit the broad side of a barn.  I was a fan of Brett coming to the vikings for one reason, he would not listen to Childress!  Jackson will be a good NFL QB if he finds a coach that won't hold him back.
