I know both Tavares and his ex. She doesn't even live in Miami and last I heard she's married with a baby too. So how would he claim her? Tavares lives in Cali. Duh. Why does anyone even care what these people do? Get a life.

Tavares seems to be getting a lot more attention lately with this UM scandal. I don't know Tess but I know Tavares, we used to date. I consider myself to be a good looking person so I can admire beauty and i thought she was gorgeous! I met her at Myst nightclub last year with Tavares and she seemed very genuine and nice. That's all everyone could talk about was her and how pretty she was. I didn't know they were engaged but I'm happy for him. As long as you two make each other happy that's all that matters. Don't let the media, family/friends or social idiocracy stop you from happiness. Tavares is a really good guy and deserves to be happy. Your Bmore friends support you! Hang in there.....xo

No I am not a close friend to Tess or Tavares, to his "family" or "close friend" writing that. Nor am I doing PR for them. They came into a club I work at in Miami a couple of times. I went online to search for some pics of us by his name and this forum came up so I checked it out. From the looks of it every pro athlete has a page like this on this webisite and all them have haters talking trash, it is just sad that his own family or so called friends would put their personal issues out there like that! Thats classless! Not me saying she has a beautiful ring. So stop being a hater, just sounds like your jealous bc your man cant provide for his women like Tavares can for his.

I met Tess (his current fiancé) and Tavares down in Miami during the lockout, and they were both very nice and happy together. I must say she has got to be one the most beautiful women I've ever seen! He is a lucky guy, she was so down to earth and sweet! By the size if that rock in her finger, I'm sure he loves her and ain't letting that one go! congrats

From my understanding they're still good friends but nothing else. I also heard he was engaged to someone right before his current fiancé, a real young chick. Who knows!!

dont let this asshole rip us apart. I met this cocky s o b in Baltimore , he thought he was a big shot because he played for the ravens. Little did he know I had my own company and make a lot more than his contract, even if its just for now. But he seems to be letting things go to his head.

I actually had to put him in his place for eye balling my wife. he didnt back down but he didnt jump up either.

I work in construction and im 6'5 250 with very little fat. we fuss for a minute than he askes where did I play football

I tell him to kiss my ass than he went into Marshalls . this was in Towson he must live close to there because this is where most of his sightings are

What you say makes sense. I just think in the case of Tavares though he's one of the few guys who realized his potential from a young age and he had a father who was making it a business for him even in high school. He has even said that he really loved baseball, and that football was never his real passion. It's gotta be kind of frustrating to be pushed so hard into a direction your don't really want to go, especially as a kid. Seems to me he had to grow up faster than most in terms of business. That may be why it comes across that he lacks passion for his origional team.

Its not a business when its High school Football, you form a brother hood with your team mates, you're playing it for the love of the game, yea you have dreams of going pro, but thats because you love it, and yeah it pays hella good! But its not a business until you sign that first contract.....then its your lively hood. And a job. If you made it big would you thank people who didn't help you? Umm no. What you're saying doesn't make any sense. Tavares ALWAYS thanks and shouts out the schools and people who helped him. St Thomas helped him, S. Broward did not. Even still, he DOES say he went there, and has never once denied his ties to that or anyother school. Like you said, the scouts came to watch him bc he won states in track...HE did the work south broward did not, they did not make any calls, and he didn't expect them to. His talent spoke for its self. St Thomas not only pushed for him athletically but also accidemicaly. The educational system at s broward is horrible and Tavares fell behind because of it. Once at St Thomas with actual good teachers, he was able to catch up and excell is school. That's important to him as well. So no, he's never said he's not proud of where he came from, bc he shouts lauderdale in general out all the time. He just keeps it real in terms of what each institution did or didn't do for him.

Tavares, never had anything handed to him? Please! His Dad Trained him from a little kid, and turned him into a beast, which I won't complain about, I wish I had a dad that had done that for me. He is the only person I know that came in straight from middle school into the 9th grade and was better than most of the Seniors. I didn't meet him until he came to South Broward! From what I heard he was nothing but a bully in middle school because he was so much bigger than everyone else. But at S.Broward, he seemed pretty cool. But somewhere he got a big ass head and felt he was owed something. Just Because he won a Gold Medal at State for Track and Field. He had scouts out there watching him from when he first came to S.Broward. So I don't know what he was bitching about they never did anything for him. But good ole St. Thomas was their and drooling over him, and gave him a scholarship and made whatever promises for him to play for them, and BAM! he packed up and shipped out! I don't blame him there either though, but He got big headed somewhere. Forgot where he came from. If you ask him, where he started, He probably won't mention S.Broward at all. B/c they didnt do nothing for him. Those are words he said to me himself. St. Thomas is a Power House High School Team at any sport, because they scout and offer scholarships and everything else to the best of the best, and then they get them juicing and turn them into even bigger beasts. I know im just rambling on and on, but I guess my point is, he has done went HOLLYWOOD, and I don't mean Hollywood, FL where S. Broward is, He thinks he is a superstar and has done forgotten where he came from. I used to be proud to say I wore the same Football Jersey as he did at one time, now I guess the only dude I can still be proud of is Travis Daniels, who played with Tavares too at S.Broward and now plays for KC. Oh and Travis did all of his own recruitment work, he didnt need anything handed to him like  a little whiney spoiled little brat!

I'm neither, I've known him since we were in middle school. In college they offer tutoring for the athletes they don't give away grades anymore. Those days are gone. If they did then why were there football players at Miami who still failed? As for your wife...who is even talking about her???? Are you threatened or something? He's a successful, God loving, young man. If he wants to flirt with girls it's his right. He came up from a tough childhood, and had worked hard his whole life to make it to where he is. He went to college, studied hard got ALL As and Bs and graduated with honors all while playing D1 football. That story about the vivi girl and Tavares' ex-fiancé isn't true either. Ashley and Tavares simply broke up because of career choices, they remain friends even now. Stop being so hateful people, God doesn't like ugly and he certainly is the only one with a right to judge.
