When Favre was with the Packers the Vikings fans hated him with all their hearts…that was cool...it was the way it was supposed to be. Now that he has played one season with the Vikings he is like a native born son. Nobody better think or speak ill of Brett. The more I read these clueless misguided supports of "Their Brett," I realize it is Viking fans that are screwed up. The networks and the NFL of course are going to hype what sells. Unfortunately that was Brett Farve. They cannot be blamed for that. Viking fans on the other hand sold their soles for a second place NFC finish. They are happy with it and that is sad, but it is how they are. If I were a Vikings fan I would rather take my chances with TJacks mother at QB than have a guy I hated for 16 years on my team. I am a Packer fan and if Randy Moss would have come to the packers back when there was talk I would have hated him just as much in a Packer uniform as I did in a Vikings uniform.

You know, after seeing the way the Colts lost the SB yesterday, i'm beginning to sympathize more with Favre and how all ended in that Vikes-Saints game. Everyone is giving huge credit to the Saints, and don't get me wrong, they won the SB and won it good. It was fair. But i don't understand why now everyone has the Saints as this invincible team, when all it took for them to move on was the mistakes of the other team. Face it or not, if Favre hadn't thrown that INT they've would've taken the game just like that. It was almost over, they had the ball, and getting closer and closer to the end zone. They only needed like one or two more throws for a FG position and game over with a Vikings win. Last night, we all know how Peyton is, especially in 4th quarters. Almost same scenario. Time running, they got the ball, the score still one TD away from tie it. Peyton threw an INT and that was it for the Colts. My point is, i know, know, the Saints won and are the SB champions. But i would't be too quick and labelling them the strongest in the NFC. To me the Vikings were the best in the NFC. And the Colts from the AFC. But both Peyton and Brett prove to be human among their greatness. To me both Brett and Peyton are unbeatable when they make no mistake. Peyton will have another chance next season, and Favre if he comes back. |

Brett Favre -- wonderful player and person. Anyone who hates him has a serious problem. He is not selfish at all. he is humble and empowers others to do there best. Get a life!~ |

Brett Favre is the most selfish SOB football player I've ever seen. The media's love-affair with him is ridiculous. Go to Hell, Brett. |

Brett........you're the best. I am sorry there are so many stupid people in the world.......jealous of you, wanting to misinterpret everything in light of their own shallow egos. I know this hurts you, but it is shared by your fans. We take it too. Have to defend you all the time. It is so ridiculous because their grandchildren are going to think their grandparents were just plain crazy for the things they say about you. But your name will go down in history as the greatest quarterback of all time. |

I love it.... When Favre screws up and throws the game ending interception... again, "Its a team sports so Brett is not the only one who lost the game for them.", but when they win.... ahhhhhhhhhhhh Favre took us there.... Hail Farve..... Nope, Favre sucks. End of story. Have fun with T'Jack next year. |

I randomly found a pretty interesting article on this web site below about Brett Favre. It is under Brett Favre: Love Him or Hate Him? section and called "Psychology Of Favre Fans Still Fascinates." You can scroll down a few posts and check it out:

The reason people are saying he lost the game for the Vikes is because he did. 19 year vet of the NFL, and he does that. Rookie mistake. We shouldn't be surprised, he has done it for the last 3 years in a row. You go on loving him, but you will never love him as much as he loves him. If he comes back next year the NFL will win, the networks will win, but the Vikings will not win the big one. But knowing Vikings fan like I do they will be happy just making it to the playoffs. A perfect place for Brett. He won't let them down.

So you saying the 5 fumbles had nothing to do with the win give me a break. Its a team sports so Brett is not the only one who lost the game for them. See you in August Brett you will have Minnesota on top next year like you did this year

LOL, i'm pretty sure the Vikings would've given up those ratings for the win and pass to the Superbowl. But if the ratings are a consolation for you, be my guest. And again, those Vikings fumbles didn't the end the end. It was the Interception that finished their possibilities. The were still in position to win, and Favre himself blew it. Just like you blame everything on Rodgers, now deal with it! Favre and ONLY Favre blew the game at the end.

I love all the bashing of Brett Favre. Mostly(not all) are probably Packer fans still pissed that the Packers were picked apart by the Viking QB. For anyone to blame that game on Favre is totally blind! He was left unprotected most of the game. He wasn't the one fumbling in the redzone areas. Not to mention the fact they wouldn't have even gotten there without him! The ratings of the nfc champ game was the highest rating ever even higher than the superbowl. And why? Because of Brett Favre and Brett Favre only. He's done so much for the game. I don't understand how anyone can wish bad things on him. Should we say Aaron Rodgers lost the game to the Cardinals for that fumble and kicking the ball in the air to the defender? Lets not talk about the piss poor Packer defense, we'll just blame Rodgers because he choked! SAME DIFFERENCE!

I think Favre will look at next years season with the Vikqueens and realize they have to play tough teams like New England, The Jetts, and the Saints and realize they probably aren't going to the playoffs. So I assume he is going to retire. Then complain becasue the Packers won't retire his jersey in 2010. I say they wait until 2020.... So he's 50 when we walks out on the field. They should do it in December so he can slip on some ice. ESPN should hire him so him and Jon Gruden can make out on Monday Night Football.

Up until then I was having a hard time watching the rest of the playoffs (after the Packers loss) or even reading about football. Now, I can't get enough!!! Thanks again douchebag!!!!
