Cedric Benson sucks.  He plays behind one of the best run blocking o-lines in the league and all he can muster is 3.9 YPC.  The only remotely positive thing you can say about him is that he's a "grind it out" type back but that's completely negated by the fact that he has no durability whatsoever.  So all you really have is a head case with injury issues that averages less than 4 yards a carry behind a line where an average back should be able to average at least 4.5 YPC.  The guy is garbage.

He has not proven himself in NFL, that is for sure. When is going to happen. He has been in Chicago since 2004?????
Cedric is alright. Cedric hasnt had enough time to prove himself in the NFL yet.

Come on now y'all, Cedric Benson isn't with the Chicago Bears to be any good, he's there to get injured.
Cedric was an awesome RB in college..why else would he have been drafted #4 overall..its hard to tell how good benson is as a RB for a number of reasons..one being the offensive line..they simply cannot protect the qb or create holes for the RB...second, without a decent qb nobody respects the passing game and everyone is looking to stop the running back...and cedric benson isn't fat..he has always been a big RB.he uses his size to barrel through defenders
Are you kidding me?  The only way that he could be a really great RB is if he got faster, and wasn't fat, and didn't just put his head down and run into defenders every time he had the ball.  Here's a story about Cedric Benson: Cedric Benson sucks.  The end.
CEDRIC IS AWEFUL
I'm a big fan of Cedric Benson. I think the bottom line is that the quarterback is horrible therefore you cant blame cedric for not getting the ball and making any extremely good plays. Cedric can be a really great RB if the Bears get a good QB.
