Revis continues to be a non-factor in the Jets success this season.  Very unfortunate that the Jets bit the bullet and signed him to such a huge contract.  Not worth it at all!

Revis sucks because he held out and didn't train properly and now he will have a crappy season. He will be overpaid for not contributing to the team and it is his own fault. The Jets should have never signed him this year. They are doing fine without him. A big mistake and Revis benefits and is no help to the team.

no doubt he held out because he knows he can't repeat that season he had, it was a fluke and I hope the league, especially the officials, keep an extra eye on how he did make those plays last year....illegal use of the hands

i like revis and ill tell u why. he had 23 rushing yards in a single season, as opposed to chris johnson who only caught 82 passes. He's surpassed his offensive numbers when he entered the league, which explains why he can be so explosive on defense. There isn't a player in NFL history that can even come close to Revis' potential at the CB and S positions. Revis can tackle, split the nickel formation, and over-exert when you need him to in the beginning of games. It's not enough to just point out that he fights for a huge paycheck--you also need to see what he brings to the table outside of his physical prowess. Players like Jim Brown, Dick Butkis, Lawrence Taylor, Joe Naimath, Boomer Esiason, Santonio Holmes and Plaxico Burress will all go down in history as legends because they had what Revis has, and that is one hell of a swagger. Single season rush statistics, blocking, tackle and catch numbers aside, Revis has what it takes to be an amazing NFL superstar.

ok i saved the last of my hating tonight for revis....ok if you want more money great ..me and my friends have a saying ...its great he was shutdown for one season....but like we say..i gotta see him do it again to be convinced...if i was the jets i wouldve let him sit out and ruin his career, to be the highest paid player on the team and think your underpayed....is like spitting on all your teammates that want to win ...and weather they say that to him or not i dont know..but i assure you it feels that way...Nnamdi Asomugha  this man has been consistant for 7 years...he earned his dues by repeating a performance before gettin the mon mon,, either revis wanted to get the money now cus he knows his season was a fluke and had to get his cash now, or hes so arrogant that he thinks his "shut down' ability is all his own....and that hes worth that much more than his teammates who are supposed to trust him ...

I watched the entire 2009 season highlight video of Darrelle Revis. You jets fans are way up this guys ass. Every play he made was borderline pass interference, checking guys down the field past 5 yards. The second huge factor is he is horrible at stuffing the run. The jets have him take on the best receive, he does not have to worry about stopping the run because that how Rex Ryan has his position set up. Those two factors make me feel Revis is overrated. You do these two things to any half way decent athletic person you can get Revis numbers, which are not the best ever FYI. Woodson for example blew his doors off in stats. Taking on the same big threat receivers. GET LOST JETS FANS
