He makes way more takles than reed and the only reason why reed looks so great is because he gets balls that are tipped right to him. Look back at the 2008 afc chamionship game. Who made the game winning intercpetion. Not Ed reed it was actually Troy Polamalu. Also this year who made joe facco fumble the ball late in the fourth quater. Troy Polamalu. No argument agianst it Ed reed sucks compared to the Steelers SS Troy Polamalu

I just wanted to say I think Ed Reed is a great nfl player and a credit to the league. I also would like to give my condolences to him and his family on the recent loss of his brother.

Reply-to:Ed Reed is the most overrated player in the NFL.  All of you Reed fans please do me a favor.  Look up who he picks off and at what time of the game he usually racks up his picks.  If you pick off Chad Pennington 53 times in your career, does that make you good?  NO.  If you are beating a team by 23 points going into the 4th quarter and these loser QBs are just throwing the ball up and Ed picks it off, does that make him great?  NO.  He pads his own stats.  He CANT EVEN TACKLE and he is in the discussion for best at his position?  You nerds should look into the stats you read.
