Matt Diehl & Adam Ackley Childrenofroby.com 02-11-09 Dear Mr. McBriar, At childrenofroby.com we give punters their much deserved and overdue credit. At our website we cover a myriad of topics, but we put punting on a pedestal. The position or its players never get any publicity, yet it is an important part of the game, therefore we want to honor the position and its players on our website. This is the reason why we named the site after the greatest punter of all-time, Reggie Roby. This website is a retreat for punters and punting enthusiasts, as well as a place to read unfiltered and somewhat comical articles on hot topics in sports today. A couple of our goals as far as punting goes are to get Reggie Roby, Ray Guy, and other special teamers in the Hall of Fame, and to have The Great American Punt-off in 2012. This will be an event that will include music, drinks, games, and a punt-off challenge. The problem here is that Matt and I aren’t exactly punting experts. Therefore we need to find people who are experts, and are willing to participate in this event. We feel that a professional such as you would be a great addition to our team and would further assist in making the dream of The Great American Punt-Off a reality. We also want to get interviews with some of the better punter’s in the league today and past punting greats. If you have any interest in joining the movement or participating in an interview on one of our podcasts please email us at boomingleg@childrenofroby.com. Thank you and keep on punting! Sincerely, The Children of Roby Roby once punted from Philly to Scranton |
