Look I've been reading this forum for the last few weeks as the Chargers have collapsed from being a super bowl contender to cellar dweller of the AFC West and as I've been cashing plenty of betting tickets over that time. I've noticed that noone on this forum is pointing out the truth about whats going on with Rivers. It's not that he is hurt, it's not Norv's coaching, it's not team. But its the FACT yes I'm saying FACT that Phillip Rivers is a POINT SHAVER! Now I know you are saying, "What? No way! He is a millionaire, he is moral!" Yadda yadda yadda. The bottom line is that NFL fans and hell sports fans in general need to stop acting like they KNOW these players just cause they do great things on TV. You read a few articles about a charity he has or some mickey mouse good deed he did and you think "aww, he is so great!" or you hear about him "going to church" and you just love his slack jawed southern accent. But guess what, the things that you have been so frustrated with from all the other players who go to jail or do drugs, or get caught doing other stuff...just times that by 10. I'm not saying all athletes are bad, but I have been in a locker room or two in my day and can tell you, players don't care about you, they don't necessarily care about winning "championships" and they for damn sure don't care about the game as much as you do. Alot of players just want to GET PAID! The only thing that matters is MONEY. And Rivers has 6 freaking kids, 6 ! That's alot! He's a hillbilly #1 and you can never underestimate the level of depravity a hillbilly is willing to step to. NFL, NBA and MLB players gamble, buy hookers, do drugs and get into debt with terrible investments. And it happens at an alarming rate!
So let me get to the facts so you NFL dweebs can stop doubting the truth, that brutal truth that your beloved hero Phillip Rivers is KING POINT SHAVER and has shaved more this season than a case of Gillette Mach III razors. The Bolts have been favorites in almost every game they have played this season. My inside sources in Vegas have told me that the money has been on the Chargers in every single game this season by at least a 60-40 percentage. So although the bolts were winning games early and not covering the spread, YOU WERE STILL BETTING THEM! Knowing this, Vegas is smart...they can throw any number on the board and people will bet. Rivers, desperate in whatever situation he is (greed, bad investment, gambling debt, pick one) figures hey..I can open a marker at The Mandalay Bay for $200K and have my cousin "Billy Joe Bob" from N. Carolina fly to Vegas and bet against my team every week and I can practically double maybe TRIPLE my paycheck!
The Chargers are 2-9 vs the spread in the last 11 games and Rivers , perfectly healthy, has laughed all the way to the Vegas cash window every week with boatloads of cash on all you Joe Public retards. That explains his INTs, and his "mistakes". See fumbled game winning snap vs Kansas City. Chargers were favored in that game too.
Another example was against the Bears, the Bolts were 4 point underdog, 3.5 depending which sportsbook you went to. Showing you how much of an involved scam this is...Lovie Smith knows that Rivers is on the take and gives the Bolts another opportunity to cover the spread and SCREW Rivers bet, as he passed 3 times with 4 minutes left and only up 4, then he ran a fake punt on 4th down in his own territory that FAILED ! Rivers with ball in his hands and can pretty much guarantee a FG and a onside kick possibility for a game winning score which the Chargers desperately needed, Rivers THREW AN INT ON THE FIRST FREAKING PLAY RIGHT TO THE BEARS! The Bears got an additional score and covered the spread CASHING FOR RIVERS!!!!
Who was betting against who? In that circumstance Lovie (something he has been doing for a long time) bet against his own team and it cost him his QB. Rivers laughed to the window again.
There was no chance from the beginning of the season for the Chargers to win ANYTHING. The league wants Packers vs Patriots in the Super Bowl so bad they have a boner! Rivers and other players know this so they do what they can to get PAID! And that's the name of the game in the NFL.
