No matter where Brett goes he wants to win. |

As a Vikes fan, of course I want to see us win the division, but I'll be happy as long as we're in the playoffs; with or without Brett. CHI and GB have both made some significant improvements this offseason, and it will not be as easy to win the North for us this year, but I'd still expect us to make it to the playoffs and have a shot at the big dance. Eventually, 1 of us has to leave and 1 of us gets to continue on, and when that happens I bleed purple and gold as always ...but until that point, I wish you both luck. Having said all this, I do not want to use Brett as a device to jab GB in the side. This is a professional sport and I will never endorse childish motives on my team or anyone elses. Our goal is to compete on the highest professional level; with or without Brett. We need to beat our other NFC North teams to advance, and that alone would be the reason I'd be rooting against GB. As long as MIN and Brett have the same attitude, I don't care what others have to say. |

Sophomore: Thanks for the compliment. I have been a Packer fan all my life and was heartbroken last year when Brett wasn't able to or allowed to come back. To have him play in the NFL is a treat for me no matter where he plays. If he plays with the Vikes so be it. I want Brett to go out on top. The perfect scenio would be for the Pack to win the divsion and the Vikes to get a playoff birth. Looking forward to when you guys play us. |

.....mind sharing the glory with you guys. We just borrowed him a bit at the end and gave him a springboard to reach the glory he deserves on any team. I look forward to doing battle with you guys this season...with or without him. |

As a Vikes fan, I gotta say thank you to the previous post by the GB fan. I respect Brett anywhere he plays. If he comes to us (as is pretty likely at this point), I agree that we're a great fit for him. And I'll say that I'm sorry he didn't get to end his career with you guys. I can see that he built an entire career/legend with you guys, and you deserved to have him retire as yours. But here we are now; nevermind your team or ours, we gotta consider Brett. We all want him to go out on top like the legend he his, and I think he has as good of a chance to do that now, with us, as he would anywhere. So if he does phenomenal with us, I don't |

As a Packer fan I hate to say this but I think Brett would be a good fit for the Vikes. He wouldn't have to make long passes and with Peterson how could he lose. Heard that the trainer in Hattsiburg gave Brett advice about his shoulder. This all would not have happened if the Packers had let Brett come back last year like they should have |

TJ still sucks; Sage is already all he's ever going to be. We could really use Brett, if only for 1 season. |

Yea, Brett favre is awesome, Last time he's been to the Superbowl? 1998 Playoff games since that? Well there was the game vs St.Louis were he threw 6 ints, The game vs Minnesota were he threw 4, and the game vs the Giants were he threw the losing INT. He's exactly the kind of QB we need to loose another playoff game. |

You sir are a dumb ass, Pat Williams even said that his quote was taken out of context. You can't even spell TJ's initials correctly. |

Now we have Pat Williams publicly saying to TJ, "This ain't college no more. This is the NFL," This is awesome! He went on to say that TJ has, "to put in more time than what he's doing." As his team mate, I don't think Pat can say he doesn't care for the TJ's talent, but I believe that's what he wants to say. And since I don't work for our franchise, I CAN and WILL say it; JT NEEDS TO GO!!! And if Childress continues to stubbornly back bad ideas (like TJ), then he needs to leave with TJ. |

TJ has gotta go, no matter what else we do. Maybe not this season (although I'll be very displeased if he starts any games other than preseason), but by next season, he's gotta go. He doesn't have the raw instict or talent that can't be taught. That part has to be a natural ingredient that is built upon, and he's been around PLENTY long enough to have displayed it, if he had it. TJ fans.....just let go already. We can't get better if we keep trying to make something work that just doesn't work. |

We still need someone other than TJ or Sage; regardless of Farve. Eventually, our franchise and loyal TJ fans will be FORCED to accept this simple fact. I think he's a great kid, with ok talent, and a great heart for the game. But all the time we spend listening to the "TJ's our guy, and he's getting better, and he's gonna blossom" is VALUABLE time we lose towards acquiring a serious QB. As wonderful of a guy and hard working of an athelete as he may be, he's never gonna be "THE" guy, for us or for any other franchise. It's just not in the cards for the kid. I will always cringe when I see him walking into OUR huddle. If he wants to walk into someone else's, good for him/them. |

tarvaris is the guy he is getting better all the time. i love him for two reasons #1 when gus threw the 99 yarder to berrian if you watch the front of berrian angle tj is the first guy on the sidelines with his hands in the air cheering. he is a humble dude. and #2 this is only his fourth year i think whatever needs to click to make him a playoff quarterback has already clicked but he will take a little maturation i believe this year to be super bowl caliber. sage on the other hand is entering his eigth year and has not had the whatever click. also i would like to point out chilly's style when it comes to a guy he loves. remember how long it took him to turn the team over and call adrian the #1 back instead of chester. so unless sage is doing adrian-like amazing things on the field i dont think he will just flip a coin and decide. tj is going to be a star and i just hope the fans of MN. have the decency to let him do it here. |
