New york rangers don't want him---so guess that means he's not staying in New York. No one else seems to want him either as he was not claimed off waivers. Not really an NHL caliber player---he was really lucky to get the contract that he did with New York. Likely a buyout, then headed back to the AHL.

Just because he's young isn't an excuse for him to party. He is a professional hockey player - when he signed that contract he signed his social life away too. No excuses, you can't have the best of both and expect to be congratulated. If his team was doing well we would not care but as of now he should work on getting his team is check.
