Milan Lucic

I pay attention and talk nice, esspecially for these chat boards...LOL.. Yes, Milan took the time to talk to his fans and sign autographs and didn't leave until the conversation was over.. very respectful for someone who COULD be egotistical. Ok, you got me convinced with Loooch staying on the 4th line. Still can't wait to see how tomorrow will play out.. if Savvy returns or not.. Yeah, speaking of egotistical, I heard that Mr. Savard can be tough off the ice.. I think coming to Boston throughout these past few years Claude has been in the process of trying to tame him, even on the ice.. instead of scoring goals on his own and being a cherry picker, he has turned into a team player and I really like him alot and what he has done with this team and the players. I really like Thorton and the game he brings to both on and off the ice. Do you know any details to the Wives Carnival, I want to attend this year, and really don;t know the details. Hope they win tomorrow... :)

Haha, yeah, its good to try and be nice on the boards..lol, some people are a bit..ohhhh, shall we say "sensitive"?? ; ) Milan is always so good with fans..its just one more thing about the guy to love.I agree, he could very well be very egotistical is he wanted to, but, he isnt..anyone who knows anything about this guy or has even heard him speak knows this..as far as Milan staying with Bitzy and Begin on the 4th line, I think that line should be kept together, BUT, I think that line should be the 2nd line..they are playing better right now than the current 2nd line..I think they should be rewarded for that..I know its only been a couple game, but, you see it already..that line is clicking, its producing, and it combines 3 guy who not only can scare, but, are very tough as well..it has the potential to be our "power-forward" line..I reallly think Savvy will be back Wednesday..not that I dont want him back tomorrow, its just I think he might want that extra day..just a gut feeling..we will see though..as far as him being tough off the ice, well, it depends how you interact with him..its that simple..I dont know how he is with coaches though..it seems to me he really likes it here and works quite well with Claude..I think he is learning a lot and has learned a lot, regarding hockey..Thorton does bring a lot on and off ice..I just wish he would score more..as well as some of our other players..I havent heard anything about the Wives Carnival yet, but, that should be coming very soon..I hope they win tomorrow too..I dont see why there should be a problem..this is an easy team, we have had 2 days rest, we have finally put together back to back wins, Savvu might be back...what else could we ask for?? but, once again, we will see : )..Gooooooo Bruins!!!!!!!

thank you, just a great fan of the game.. I am just a true Boston fan with a win or lose attitude. We will all see tomorrow (I know I sound like a broken record) if Savvy returns.. I want to see if our chemistry will change.. too bad this team right now is relying on Looch and Savvy for any saving grace... or for stragedy/chemistry development, a team is a team.. as a whole and not just 2- or so players.. I can speak very highly of Wheeler, but, he needs to put more body into his game as well, team aggression, hits, and waiting in FRONT of the net wins games... I don;t know how many times I have seen 3 B's behind the net.. where's that nice formation on net from last year? Bring it back kids... bring it back... Savvy is fast as well as Looch, let's see some play action, and let's see some goals... we need points, we need wins, and we need this team BACK...

Lisa O.

Milan will being throwing his weight around soon enough : )..he is just being careful...dont want him to re-injure his finger..he had a good hit against the Sabres in the 1st period..almost vintage Milan..I want him to send someone through the glass again..that 4th line should stay together..Milan, Bitzy, and Begin work very well together and are a formidable line..we need that toughness back!! too many teams think they can walk all over us right now..Yes, Savvy will likely get put back on the 1st line..I dont see any way for them to get around that..besides, he IS a goal scorer and play-maker..I think he is really gifted with the way he just seems to naturally know how to find and handle the puck...people may not like him as a person, but, you cant deny his skill on the ice..glad you has an awesome experience with Milan..he really is a great guy..I love the way he is so tough on the ice and soooo nice off : )..he is indeeed a great person : )..I think his contract was pretty fair...it was HUGE increase from what he was being paid..he will be a Bruin for a lonnnng time : )..he loves it here : D..nice talking to you too..its good to have people here who actually pay attention to the game

I loved the fourth line this week to... I love Bitzy and Begin with Looch. Can not wait for Looch to start throwing his weight around. I wish they would move Bitz up to the first line. I may agree with Savvy coming back to the fourth line, but, the way he wines (LOL) I think we will see him on the first line.. I like the fact that he has been skating and is ready to go, however, I know I can not wait till he comes back but, I think Wednesday will be more likely as his return. Milan is an awesome guy, I met him once. He is wonderful with the fans, great on the ice, he is fantastic, exactly what this team needs. wish they gave him more money in his offer, but, at least he stays a Bruin. Nice talking to you...

Lisa O.

I am thinking Wednesday too..I think they will put him on the 4th line with Milan..they seem to like to do that when players come back from injury, just to make sure they are ok or something..then they move them back up to where they belong..but, I like that 4th line with Milan,Bitz and Begin..they bring that toughness back..this week, well, they have two easy games on the road that they shouldnt have a problem with..but, Friday, thats gonna be a tough game..Sat will be hard too, but, not like Friday..I am a bit worried about Friday...we will see what happens..hopefully, they can at least win these next 2 games on the road..that would give them a huge boost

Love the Hall Gill comment... and very well said.... Wideman is non-existent.. I am very disapointed with him.. Sturm was placed on the first line in hopes of Savvy making him a name... without Savvy he is nothing... I do like Wheeler, Bitzy, and maybe even Thorton's game right now.. I have to laugh because you are absolutly right about Krejci and Bergy being over-paid.. thank god for Bergy and his shoot out goals though.I agree with the comment, trade Sturm for a first line goal shooter.. trade Wideman as well.. just thing, with Bergy making a name for himself this year, put him on the shelf, as a great trade offer...I know that silent H (Sherrif Shane K.) did anything last year, but, I loved his game... he was aggressive.. we need Chara's aggressive side to come back... I've said this before, this team needs to find some chemistry, and find it fast... I know that the Pens were a 7-seed team last year that won a Stanley Cup.. but, this team needs to at least get there first.

Lisa O.

B offense sucks.. Ryder is non-existant, Old Man Recchi needs to hang them up soon, Krejic is a one year wonder boy who is currently overpaid, Bergeron is overpaid, Sturm is not a first line player and should be traded for a 1st line goal scorer, Begin/Thorton and Bitz are playing well for 4th liners...Wideman is awful right now and a huge liability to the team- with his countless turnover and missed shots. Chara is playing awful too- he's not even playing smart physically anymore. He's crying to refs and trying to draw penalties because he's even fustrated with his game. He's also taking lousey shots and can put the puck in the net. He needs to step it up and play more physically especially being the so called leader of this team! He's starting to look like Hal Gill waiving his stick around on the PK.
Very well put to the post below.... I have to admit, Chara, Wideman, and SOMETIMES, Timmy, they are not playing up to potential right now... I would have added Ryder to the list, but, his input the other night, well.. all I can say is, this is what he should have been doing all along...thank god for Tuukka.... Our defensemen need to step it up so our forwards can make passes, and shoot on net, I want to say our shots on goal percentage is also way down.. with our healthy players coming back, let's forma bond here gentlemen.. Congrats to Milan for his first netter of the season.. may we see more SOON.... can't wait for Savvy to return... I agree we miss Kessell (and he is doing well with the Laughs, oops, I mean Leafs..) but, we need to find chemistry with what we got... step it up kids... we have a Stanley Cup to win...

Lisa O.

hopefully a 7 yr. Savvy contract and more wins... Go Bruins....

Savvy def wants to stay..he has even said he will take a pay cut..that is HUGE for a player like him to say..sooo, i think something pretty terrible would have to happen for him not to sign with the Bs again..alright, its game time, GOOOOOOOO BRUINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! : )

don't think just savvy and milan are going to turn around this dreadful team. sure it will help the team, but there are other players that have to step up there game - sturm, ryder, wheeler, hunwick, chara, wideman, thomas.....they are all non-existant right now. 2 players who aren't even goal scorers (except maybe savvy - even thought it's not is role) aren't going to make this team do a 360 turnaround....bruins need to make a trade and get a goal scorer. not having kessel is hurting this team!

most of the players that you said are/were "non-existant" are defense players..our D has been saving our asss all season. so, I have to disagree with you there, especially, with Chara and Thomas..granted, Chara has not been as aggresive as he should, but, he has still made a huge diffenrence..to see how important Chara is to our team, you need only to look at what happens if he goes out for a penalty..its nearly always a disaster..I do agree that the offense players reallllly need to step up their game...absolutely they do..Ryder had a good game last night, hopefully that will continue...of course Milan and Savvy arent going to make the Bs do a 360..buuut, I do think they will help quite a bit..I think that showed last night with Milan coming back...Milan may not be a "goal scorer" buuut, he is a HUGE physical presence out there, even if he cant fight quite yet..and Savvy, who IS a goal-scorer will be back on Monday....I think team will be very excited about this..maybe it wont be a 360 turnaround, but, I do think the team might have gotten a new "appreciation" for a player like Savvy..

Savvy is back on Monday... YAY- I can agree that 2 players are not the key to the success of the Bruins this year, but, team work is... Savvy is a play maker.. he has a great eye out on that ice, and Looch is the play breaker.. I love the fact that Looch and Savvy play on the same line, this is what the Bruins have been missing... so, I do agree with the fact that 2-players don;t make a team... but, Savvy and Looch are great team players and the game has been missing them.... Welcome back Looch- great to see you back, and let's see what next week brings.... hopefully a 7 yr. Savvy contract and more wins... Go Bruins....

Lisa O.

oh, I think once Savvy gets back, that will give the team a huge boost..just like Milan did last night..Savvy is dying to get back out there...i think everybody is sick of this slump (fans, players, coaches, etc) and having to answer all the questions as to why things are the way they are..duh!! we have/had 2 of our top forwards out of commission for 4-6 weeks..at the same time!!!!!! thats like the Pens having Crosby and Malkin out for 4-6 weeks at the same time..the same thing would happen to any other team if they had their top 2 forwards out for that long at the same time
