i heard about the twins too.

honestly, the fact that it came from max pretty much screams the notion that he was just pulling sid's leg. it's what he does all the time so this probably isn't any different.

Penguins Report: Lovejoy's Big Adventure

Penguins defenseman Ben Lovejoy had a little adventure following the team's Sunday afternoon practice at BankAtlantic Center, courtesy of some creativity in the squad's customary shootout drill.

At the conclusion of practice the Penguins conduct a shootout. The only player to not score must perform some menial task. The typical punishment is what the club calls "juice boy." The juice boy fetches Gatorade and water for his teammates. Another consequence is for the loser to grow a moustache for an entire month.

But following Sunday's practice, the shootout loser had to take off his skates, throw on shoes, hike up the arena steps to the upper concourse and touch the "Y" in the giant "BankAtlantic Welcomes You to the BankAtlantic Center."

The shootout came down to Eric Godard and Lovejoy. However, when goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury stacked the pads on Lovejoy, he was forced to perform his duty.

"I had to touch the 'Y' and I was successful," Lovejoy said. "It was pretty easy getting up there. I found a freight elevator. I got lucky. That was the only way. All the doors were locked so I had to go to the top level.

"Getting down was a bit trickier. I almost ended up outside the building but I was able to get through. There were a bunch of doors. I was banging on some doors but no one let me in. I found an open door and feel like I did a whole lap around the concourse, but I made it."

-even though i dont know if its true or not, but why would Max tell strangers/people at an event what sid was doing at a hotel ? he knows that Sid's a private guy and doesnt like it if his friends/teammates opened their mouths about hsi personal life.....

I don't think an extremeley blurry picture of Sid and some girl where you can't even tell if the girl is 15 or 35 is reason to assume he's taken. Until we see a clear pic I'm still going to assume he's single. I do think that is definatley Sid in the picture but for all we know that could be anyone beside him. Last we heard on this topic Sid said himself he was single. Maybe he does have a gf but a blurry picture is not a valid reason to assume that. Also at the time when "Sid and the cup in bed" picture came out we met a girl named Katie on here whose parents are good friends with the Lemieuxs. She seemed pretty legit and she even supplied pictures of the party they had at Lemieuxs house with the cup after they won it (ex: cup in the pool pic). We asked her if Sid had a gf and she said he didn't and this was at the same time that window sill picture appeared from the "Sid and cup in bed" picture. Plus with all the Stanley Cup celebrations (winning the cup in Detroit, parade, etc.) we should have seen atleast one pic of his gf if he had one and there was nothing. To me that gives more proof that he is single then a blurry picture does to say he's taken.

The picture with Sid sleeping was taken at the Lemieux house at the party after tnhey won (he was wearing the same shirt). Why he would lie down in someone else's bed and not his at the Lemieux's home to take a picture is beyond me? If he does have a girlfriend good for him but what sucks would be him lying about it and saying he doesn't. If he didn't want to talk about his private life he could just say so. But lying would be a pretty douche bag thing to do.

personally i dont believe that he has a girlfriend. if there was a girl in his life i think a photo would have slipped or a reporter would have said something. or even fans would have a story about him being with a girl. as for the photo it may have been a gf at one time or just a really good friend.

i think with all the celebrations he had over the summer if he did have a girlfriend she would be right there with him along with the other players girls.

like its been said before lets just wait till he say something or we have actual proof!!
