I met Brooks when my best friend was dating him when he used to play for the AHL in NY. They dated for a years & we never really knew if he was faithful because we would always hear stories from girls telling us how he would try to pick them up. Anyway he was one of the nicest guys I would pick for my best friend to date. He was super good to her, treated her friends great & was super fun. I had a lot of fun partying with him during the summer when he was home. That was about 4 years ago when he had only played a few games with the Senators & wasn't the NHL star he is today but was a great guy! |

Capitals 2, Lightning 5 Scoresheet - Wash Post Even jumping to a 2-1 lead, the Capitals just couldn't stop a very hot team, the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Caps again breakdown ever so slightly on defense and the Tampa took advantage. After that it was shut down time, which teams don't seem to have a problem doing to the Washington Capitals. Alex Ovechkin and Brooks Laich were your scorers. |

I'll let anonymous, (Boswell?) commenter kick things off: "Pre-DCO circa early '07: 'Skins losing record and apparent failure of 2d Gibbs area; Wiz injuries pre-playoffs and 4 and out; Nat'ls gut the team; Caps showing negative potential and not even in contention most of the season; United's dismal second half season. Post-DCO now: 'Skins winning and Cambell looking like the future of the franchise; Wiz looking to be the sleeper and Arenas certain to have a breakout contract year with a huge ch |
