Yeah if only Price had played better because the rest of the team were absolutely setting the world on fire!

Reply-to:Yeah, Lundqvist stood on his head stopping the heavy barrage of shots by the Habs. Get real! The entire team (including Price) couldnt get it done.
Lundquist stopped the shots he had to. No softies like Scarey. If Habs had won NY would be saying "The entire team (including Lundquist) couldnt get it done".Rangers were not better than the Habs but their goalie was. Is that hard to understand?

Who needs a team when you have the greatest goalie in the world? Offence is not important. The Rangers scored 1 more goal than the Habs in the playoffs yet won 4 games.(empty netters don't count)

Here we go again. When price plays average he suddenly is the only reason why the tabs won, and when we lose its totally the teams fault. I'm so sick and tired with Price and his glorification about "best goalie in the world" NOT! once again price choked and was out classed by his rival, just like last year and the year before that and the year before that ... it been close to 10 years Montreal has been protecting price! It's been 10 years we are told that Price is the future, we need to build the team around price that he is better than Roy that he is the next cup in Montreal. All lies! All fabrication and propaganda! I have said it before and will say it again, as long as price is in nets, Montreal will never see a cup! Never! So far I have been correct 10 years running, any questions?

As a Habs fan, I personally don't see the point of harping about how the media hypes and over rate Price's ability. Should be more concerned and troubled about the obvious deficiencies of the team overall. A different goalie would change little. A true Habs fan wouldn't abandon ship. Just sayin'.

Bergeron don't be a dummy during the summer, trade this Overated ,average mediafed, fraud,be smart trade him ,while you can get somthing for him.Tired of seeing this fake, overated choker in Montreal.

Time to stop watching the habs, till they get a decent goalie, won't be getting centre ice next fall, what's the point,to have this Overated media fed ,average every year playoff choker.

Been watching the habs since 1977-78 Montreal has had good goalies, bad goalies, and great goaltenders like Patrick Roy,Price to me is a average goaltender hyped by the media ,I will give the habs a break on watching them for at least four or five years, till Price retires or gets traded but I know they won't trade this most overrated goalie that montreals ever had in their long glorious history ,what a waste having him in net,he sucks.

Reply-to:Instead of going on a hate tirade because the media touts him to be a great goaltender maybe you should focus your attention on the rest of the lackluster team. Crying endlessly about Price aint gonna change a thing. Get a life.

So a life would be focusing on the rest of the team instead of the make believe superstar that the Habs and media are trying sell me ?

Reply-to:If that be the case, he certainly blends in well with the rest of the team.
Scarey is the only one dubbed the "best" in the world.

Reply-to:Hard to believe that anyone thought that this team (with or without Price) was a Cup contender. What did you think ...Price was miraculously going to get a shut out or allow just one goal in every game to give his team a chance to win? Or did you believe that this team would miraculously start scoring consistently as to not depend on Price? Both rather farfetched dont you think? Price was unspectacular as was the team. No big surprises here unfortunately. Greatest spectator sport? Not this series. A watered down yawner.                                                                       Not about cup contender,it's about make believe superstar who is supposed to carry this team when no one can pin point a game that was actually won because of his skills in net. Win or lose ,I have no horse in the race,it's still a sport with 60 minutes of speed, hitting and talent unlike football, baseball and basketball. ( and curling) lol

Reply-to:Price in the running for the Vezina??? That trophy has just been relegated to the standards of the Molson cup. This joke of a goalie should not even be playing in the NHL never mind the Vezina. Did anyone involved in this watch a single Habs game this season??? The guy SUCKS.

Just remember, this joke of a league voted him MVP. Completely destroyed any credibility. Too bad  it's still the greatest, fastest spectator sport.

Price is too busy quarterbacking, playing 3rd D and being the best passer in the game to pay attention to stopping the puck from going in the net. You can not expect a man so talented to concentrate on just playing one position. That would be too easy. Just wait until Prince Carey becomes a TV commentator after his time as a superstar goalie ends. The NHL will be unwatchable ( it pretty much is now).
