Im by far a hockey strategist but it seems to me if you get rid of some of your big boys to bring in a lighter string hoping theyll pan out in the future, it may be the way to go unless...you cut the team short at the knees in the meantime.

This isn't the Niemi forum, Corey is cool calm and collected plus self aware. You can't place all of blame on the goalie for the team's mistakes!!!!! Idiots.

Def big mistake getting rid of those guys, esp Neimi..good goaltending is priceless, and, with the Hawks, he was very good..now, since you they got rid of those guys, esp Neimi, they can't make it past the 1st round...sad : (

Goaltending has long been an issue for the Hawks. Crawford makes a decent backup but can't make those big saves when needed.

he can't handle the pressure.how can chicago play their game with that pilon in the net. he just sucked the life out of the team letting in 2 bad goals in overtime.thank god chicago did not sign him long term.start ray emery in game 5.

Crawford has improved so much! He never lets anything in on the ground. I love when players try and jam it in under a pad or between the skate and the pole, but Corey's always there to stop it! and his glove hand has gotten so much better too!

Corey Crawford, I love you. Your such a great goalie, I love when you are in goal. I am very glad you are on the Hawks now, I wish you were last year because you were still good and deserved to be. Hey well what do you say? You are here now and I am very happy. Please stay and Chicago. If you leave I will cry my eyes out! You deserve everything you get like shutouts. Like last night against the Islanders. You showed them what you were made of.
