Dion looks like he either gasses, or just doesn't care. Lazy play, not explosive at all, and gives up too easily it seems.

I don't know how he is wearing the C. He might be a leader behind closed doors, but how seriously can he be taken with how he plays every night?

Love Brian Burke, saw lots of him as Canucks GM, but wonder where his thinking was on this one. Im first a Canucks fan, but I want to see the Leafs do well and just dont think they will go far with him as team leader.

Well she did date Sean Avery if that says anything :s

He got a nice goal last night night to make up for a brutal give away that lead to a goal He is scary when he has the puck- tries to do way too much and gets himself in trouble then he has no speed whatsoever to recover. Why did the Leafs make him Captain? Its a mistake. Burke if you ever get an offer on this overpaid player grab it fast. Unlikely though....

Dion is too slow for this game - Leafs made a huge mistake by making Captain so soon. Focus on him for a few shifts - he is lost in space, and not tough. Had a great fisrt shift as a Leraf and its been all downhill since then.

Calgary fans were happy to be rid of him, and Leafs fans will be too. Im living in Calgary now, and I can tell you with absolute certainty that by the time he left he was loathed by his fans and his teammates.

He has too large an ego to contribute to a team like the Leafs and he's probably the most overrated player in the NHL.

The Leafs NEED to get a nice trade for him whie they still can. Get some nice draft picks, and/or get a goal-scorer who can support Kessel!!!

Being a leaf captain really got to Dion's head. I think even an "A" on his jersey would have been a problem. Should have been a regular player without a letter.. perhaps then he would have cared to make a name for himself, instead of getting honored as a captain the moment he arrives to Toronto. The leafs are one of biggest franchises in all of sports, and we are represented by a lathargic defenseman.

I stopped reading after Kaberle should be the captain...Are you stupid? You cant have any knowledge of hockey or what it takes to be a captain in the NHL. Kaberle is the excact oposite from a captain.

That would be like the Senators made Alfreddson their captain.....Oh wait....lol....IDIOT

Was out at a bar a couple weekends ago on queen street t called raq ..there was a few players there and they were super nice and not sleazy ...quite impressed .. Looked like the guys went there often but who know... Just wanted to say they definately were not there to cheat
