Rangers need to get real. They are in jeopardy of not making the playoffs if this keeps up. Everyone seems to avoid saying the truth. Lundqvist is no longer a premier goalie. It's time for a change.

He should be to sent to the Wolfpack for the rest of the season. He needs to retire this year1

sorry. 4 goals was not enough for the Rangers to beat Montreal. They should start calling Lundqvist King Choke.
Reply-to:Are you kidding me. Look at his save percentage. He is ranked 25th in the nhl. Give the fans a break. He has 18 wins so far. What does that tell you? The Rangers offense saves from falling off the cliff. With him in the goal, the Rangers have to net 4 or more goals to insure a win.

Rangers, wake up, please wake up. Lundqvist comes during second period against Montreal winning 2 -1. Final score 5 - 4. RANGERS LOSE. He lets in 4 goals. Let me repeat. HE LETS IN 4 GOALS. When are the Rangers going to wake up. You will never win the cup with Lundqvist. BENCH HIM.

Way too many soft goals

Can you believe the broadcasters of the rangers games? They constantly praise Lunqvist about all the wonderful saves he makes. He is so wonderful when he lets in 3 or more goals. Imagine if they were ever unbiased and called him out on his lousy performance in goal.

Rangers need to get real. The Coach needs to wake up. BENCH HIM. 3 goals already in first two periods against Toronto. All three goals unobstructed, right through his legs. Face the facts. He is no longer a top flight goalie. It was the rangers offense that kept him from losing more games.

He may be a top flight goalie, but he has a number of weaknesses that are evident. Smart forwards will exploit these weaknesses. Coaches need to work with him on several aspects of his game
1. High shots to the glove side.
2. Handling the puck.
3. Staying too far back in the net.

Inconsistent play. Up one game and down the next. That is not going to be good enough to win NY a Stanley Cup. Makes some good saves and then lets in an unobstructed shot on net. GAA is down the list. Not the stats you want from your number one keeper.

Raanta playing fantastic against the Devils. If the coach is smart, he will keep Lundqvist on the bench.

Raanta in the nets for two tight games and what happens - two Rangers wins. BENCH LUNDQVIST.

Look at his GAA stat.  If the Rangers score 3 goals it's a toss up if they win or lose.  With Lundvquist in the net, the Rangers have to score 4 or more goals to insure a win.

This assessment is 100 percent correct.  The coaches and the Rangers organization need to wake up and face the reality of the situation.
Reply-to:Rangers will never win cup with him. I guess he believes the MSG shills who constantly praise & overrate him. We are constantly beat by better goaltenders, even when we (Rangers) completely outplay the opponent. Guess why.
