I'm glad to see Phil Kessel made the All Star Game, it may not have been the way Me and Leaf Nation wanted. But sometimes just going can make a player work harder to show all the fans, just why they belong as a starter for next year!

Phil Kessel's goal tonight against the Lightning was great, I'm sure glad he's with the Leafs, and not the Bruins. Sure, he has areas to improve on, but don't all sports stars! Thank you, Boston for giving up such a great and talented player, who keeps giving us fans reason to cheer and be glad to root for the Leafs!

I think Phil is the best player on the team, it's no wonder why Phil "The Thrill" Kessel will make the All Star Team!

Reply-to:Kessel isint shit.. hes a young kid full of talent and has the ptential of being the best American born player{apart from Kane}.  He can easily be a 50 goal scorer if he has a playmaker{not stajan}.  He has many weak spots as well.  He is a little too much of a puck hog but thatll change when someone like Kadri feeds him the puck.  Im a die-hard LEAF fan who feels Kessel needs HELP{Bozak is good for temporary games}

Yeah Kessel sucks but lets not put all the blame on him.  Its the LEAFS that truly suck - and arrogant Toronto fans that jump up and scream "we're number 1" when the Leafs do score and are only losing 4-1.  These are the same fans that pumped the Wislon-Burke 'team'.  Leafs suck worse than at any time in history since the Burke-Wilson 'dynamic duo' came to town.  On the brighter side - Leafs are a good representation of Canada's most influential city.

Are you talking about him being picked last? Kessel is a great player but It's not really a surprise he was picked last mainly due to him being on the Maple Leafs. The team is at the bottom of the standings, of course any player at the All-Star game representing the Leafs are gonna go last, it doesn't matter how good the player is. He definitely didn't deserve to go last.

The guy refuses to play hockey like a man (cant play defensively; floats like a jackass; wont block shots; wont/cant hit, disappears after hes been hit; cant score in important games). One only needs to look at his plus/minus stats and shooting percentage to see how bad he really is. Look it up!!!

Do you mean Captain? Phil Kessel cannot be Captain Crunch, because he never goes down to block a shot. He cannot be Captain Trips, because people going on trips always have a good time, and if you are going anywhere with Phil Kessel, you are guaranteed a terrible time.
