no doubt Elliot is having a good season and that he is a decent and dependable goaltender. On the other hand, no one was worried about Halak slow start because he's actually proved himself in this league. If you hadn't noticed, Halak has responded to the pressure of his teamate , like it or not. Its a very healthy goaltending situation in St.Louis with 2 professionals who have always had to earn their spot with no room for excuses. Now with the pressure off, it's kind of useless to even try and evaluate Price...it's just practice as usual, lucky for him, its been 5 years of this to get him ready for the moment your delusions have so often dreamed about. To each their reasons, to each their thrill. The bottom line, the team needs your interest and money...so please support your star and buy all the paraphanillia you can to prove your point, the cashier will respect you.

Lets be honest here, now that the team is all but officially out of a play-off spot, the pressure is off. Its nice to see Carey picking up his game a little, he's so much more comfortable when the games don't mean anything. For the first time since 1945 the team was in last place in their division in February and it seems to help him. Now he can collect meaningless awards in meaningless games in peace and comfort.
