You are crazy. Fleury has proven himself when everyone on the lineup is injured time and time again. Everyone has a bad night, and when it is his bad night. It's a 2point loss at most on average. We had a pretty decent lineup this year prior to injuries (excluding crosby; losing faith in vaginas). It's a physical sport, everytime you get hit it'll feel like a concussion, many of players have been out and back in two times with concussions. He lets up soft goals constantly, is inconsistent and is prone to flopping down on his stomach (which i am sick of seeing in NHL goalies). The only thing that makes me want fleury to play is the fact that Johnson is a terrible back up and should go back to the AHL. I love the pens but they have a nasty habit of getting lazy and sloppy for about 10 min each game and in those situations you need a goalie that is reliant, and pittsburghs goaltending is not. Trade them both if you want to win. If I see Fleury let up another soft wrist shot to the glove side Im going to go crazy. Pens got Offense, they got Defense but they have no help between the pipes.

Fleury needs to stop going down on most shots; is inconsistent .he is still "young" this may be the only thing that makes him appear to be "great" in other peoples eyes,,,,not mine.

fleurty is the last part of this team to be retooled by ray shiro...he's brought in good players to stand alongside sid and geno and stahl, and to round out the grinders like talbot, dupuis, and kennedy...he's shed us of hossa and gonchar, and given us some real punch on defense with tanger and orpik, not to mention all of our tough guys...we even have a GREAT back-up goalie...all we need is a shut the door goalie, like price or miller or lundquist...ANYBODY but marc fleury!!!!!!!
