Oh you mean that Devils game?? You do realise all season Fleury has given up an average of 4.5 goals against them? And if you think about it you could account 2 of the 4 as defensive breakdowns.. That being said... What do you say about todays game? I think the man just needs to be put in his place. The only reason why I think Therrien should still be around is because he would bitch at his players if they did bad, Whitney for example. Just letting you know, so you don't get too disappointed. If he blows dick in the playoffs like he is in the regular season.. They will put Johnson in. But hey, Johnson is good :)

and heres why YOU suck. all 4 of those goals were scored on turnovers by the Penguins. that game was a complete defensive meltdown, and lack offensive generation. but if you knew anything about hockey i wouldnt have to tell you this.

Oh wow I'm in love... I thought I was the only one in Pittsburgh that thought Fleury sucks and I find a whole forum about it wooo!!!! Here's why Fleury sucks.. The pens could be in the Offensive zone for a good 3 or 4 shots, and nice cycle passing.. The opposition comes down and gets a shot on goal, and its in. Fleury cannot control his rebounds.. He cannot hold a lead. If the Pens want to win a game you best hope we score atleast 5 a night, cause I've learned at the 4th goal against Brent Johnson comes in wooo!!! There's many other reasons Fleury sucks, I just don't feel like typing it all out, but if you want me to I will :D

OK fans. Fleury does suck and here's why? He has the fastest hands of any goalie I've seen but the s l o w e s t skates. Thus he is consistently out of position. He comes out of the crease too far and, because he's slow, he can't get back in to position. COuple that with his inability to control rebounds well and it'a a recipe for trouble.
Further, he has a BAD habit of coming out of the crease in traffic and gets beat alot near the posts.

"Good goalies can make fantastic saves. Great goalies don't have to.

ha well i agree with that so called loser anyhow, at least he doesnt flip out and start cussing you know some kids come on this site and in the first place have some team spirit, hes a great goalie, everybody blames it on him, but it isnt all his fault defense and aufence need to pic up the pace too trust me their just in a slump, they won six games in a row and then lost six games theyll get them back, oh and fleury is adorable

Alright I give in. He is an amazing goalie, and here is one more dreaded stat that helps the cause even though you don't like stats, only 1 percent of 1 percent of all hockey players in the world reach the NHL level. It is frustrating to see some of the goals he lets in though, the easy ones. But like Grant Fuhr and Patrick Roy, two goalies with not so great save percentages; they stopped the ones that mattered. I'm just more pleased to see him stick with his new coloured pads....the old ones were ugly-argue with that! As for hockey knowledge, my neighbour was filling in as head coach for Carolina when they won the cup, he is now head scout for them. My good friend Kirk Maltby plays for the Red Wings, my sisters' best friend is injured but signed with the Leafs Tim Brent. My sister's husband played in the OHL (1% of all hockey players reach that level), and my co worker played in Europe and was leading scorer for 10 years missing out on the NHL draft only because of size. He now teaches kids how to become NHL players. I listen to them and they know. Anyway I love hockey and Fleury is in my hockey pool racking up wins and goals against. I would like to see a better save percentage and some shutouts but whatever.

haha you are. I agree he did have the game of his life in game 7 last year in the final. Stats matter, or there wouldn't be stats. Teams win games not individuals. The cup win and the ring were not Fleury alone. His playoff performance was outstanding. His play this year has not yet been. It doesn't he won't turn it around or still win games with the incredible offense in front of him, allowing him the flexibility of letting more goals in. You have no idea how much I know about hockey, you don't even know who I am. Are you going to tell me that Vokoun is a terrible goalie because Florida can't win games? Vokoun saves so many pucks allowing Florida to have a chance every night. Put Vokoun or Brysgalov in net in Pittsburgh and you have another cup.

-Yes I did. He sucks. I watch every game and am amazed at how he is a starting goalie. On any other team, with the exception of San Jose, Chicago, Washington, etc. He wouldn't be the starter. His save percentage is horrible. In fact he is 30th out of 44 goalies. Pittsburg the team is terrific. And if Fleury was a good goalie his save % would be much higher. Take Brysgalov for example, his team sucks and he is one of the leaders in the NHL for save %. So get your facts straight before you comment. Ignorant shit.
