Has anyone else seen this show? Road Hockey Rumble?...It's SO funny, and Wade appeared on it! These two guys basically take a road trip across Canada, and hold road hockey tournaments in a bunch of different towns. The winner gets beer, and the loser get "punishment". (Painful!) There's trailers and stuff at their site: http://www.roadhockeyrumble.com So, anyone else seen it? (It's on DVD now for those who haven't!)

Wade seems to be a very nice guy off the ice, but he is certainly not an asset on the ice. He is not physical enough and slow to react specially in the defensive zone. He seems to shy away from making body contacts. This prompts him to get rid of the puck hastily and this eventually leads to terrible mistakes and costly turnovers. He is the type of player who could spend an entire career without getting seriously hurt. This would be acceptable for a marginal player but certainly not expected from a player loaded with talents and commanding such a high salary. I think a trade would more thant profitable to the Senators. No hard feelings to Wade or his fans.

Wade Redden turned down another trade due to his no-trade clause. He seems to still want to stay and win a Stanley Cup here. Well that's grand for him, but we need to add players and subtract our dead-wood. Redden is dead-wood. He's horribly inconsistant, unconfident, and horrible in his own end because he's not strong or fast enough to deal with any sort of opposing forecheck. So Redden Fuck You for saying no to the Edmonton deal this summer, and Fuck You for not wanting to go to San Jose (who have a good chance of making it to the finals) you selfish ass.
