Dupuis was a good trade... but you must use some good drugs if you think Armstrong for Hossa was a good move!  He should have moved.... to the first line where he belonged.  The punishment thing with the coach needs to go!  Hockey, like all other sports, is a lot mental.  His crap gets in the way.

Players 'like Colby' are a dime a dozen... but Colby is one in a Million.  It doesn't really matter what you or I think.  Ask one of the Penguins.  Actually, ask Crosby if he'd rather have Army back on the Pens.  There's your proof of his value to the team.  Get a grip!  Better yet, get a life!

Players like Armstrong are a dime a dozen. They might not all be as ~hilarious~ but so many in this league, in the AHL, anywhere, can do the same job he is expected to do. Many of them can probably do it better. Where were those big hits last year? Hossa may have fled for Detroit, but honestly the team is so much better off. Army was floating, not doing his job, Christensen never was going to have a place in the Pens organization as he couldn't adapt to wing and there were a boatload of centers, and Esposito and his stock was tanking quickly.

i dont know about great, but Colby is a good hockey player.  i agree with the last post...he is gritty, and hes the best locker room guy any team could ever ask for.  yes, Hossa was a better player.  but Hossa was only a Penguin for three months.  as you said, Colby was loyal to the Penguins.  i want Colby back.  not only for what he does on the ice, but also for what he does off of it.

Colby is a great hockey player, definitely an asset to any team he's on. He'll never be the top scorer or the biggest star, but you need gritty guys like him to help make plays, plus he's a great locker room guy. Obviously Hossa is a better player, so the Pens got the better end of the deal... initially... But now Hossa jumped ship, as most people expected he would, and the Pens lost a lot of hard working, quality, LOYAL and committed players in the process. That's why people want him back, not just for the jokes.

Do you actually consider yourself to be a fan?  Honestly!  Colby contributed a lot to the team.  Besides the amazing chemistry, he made many plays happen just by his performance in the neutral zone.  When the coach was out of his head... he was an awesome winger for Crosby.  You are either ignorant, regarding hockey, or jealous.

Well, retard, (obvious since you are glad he's gone) Randy kept Ziggy, Mario and T-Bo on here for like forever... so just let it alone!  To some of us TRUE fans, Colby will always be a Penguin.  And, we like his g/f.... because HE likes his g/f.  Grow up!
