To me the story about Lindros and Brind'Amour's wife is a fairy tale. Why? Because Brindy always defended Eric even AFTER this so called affair. This is a tale made up by angry fans who just couldn't stand Brindy was leaving. Brindy said last year he understood Eric left the Flyers and he always supported him. Would you do this if a player slept with your wife? It also has been said Brindy slept with Eric's girlfriend. Just fans fairy-tales. There never has been evidence Eric or Rod did this. And Eric never played with Chelios in a team so......... |

My question is what caused Chelios to turn on Penny and Lindros. What did Lindros sleep with his wife too, like he was always excused of doing with Brindy's wife. Of course from the stories I've heard about Cheli he sleeps with everyone but his wife. |

This is a huge mess which never seems to end. There are always two sides of a story. So far we have heard the side of Kelly and co long enough. Now it is time we hear about Eric's side. We need evidence. They say emails have been hacked but none of them showed evidence this REALLY happened. If they are so quick with pointing their finger at someone (in this case Eric) they must also show evidence. BUT I do wish Eric would at least say something. |

I agree, I also want to know why Kelly never got any grief for going to numerous media outlets and telling them that the role of ombusman is worthless and a waste of money. Don't you think that would be a red flag maybe he had something to hide, nope instead Lindros was thrown under the bus. |

Where's the proof that this PA mess is partly or even all Eric's fault? If those people who accuse Big E behind the scenes can't back up what they say, they should shut the hell up. Kelly broke the rules of the PA, he should look in the mirror as to why he's no longer PA head. And Healy's a joke, half the time I can't understand what the hell he's saying because it isn't in english! |

I think they should look better before they take people into the HHoF committee. If Kelly has a problem with Eric and will not allow him to get in there is something very wrong. They should leave all personal hatred and disagreements outside and look at a player AS A PLAYER. I mean Eric has done so many great things for the Flyers and team Canada. Maybe it's time people look at Kelly more closely. |

I wish I knew, but your right. I wonder if it's because Healy sorta took part of Lindros role with the NHLPA. For the first year Lindros and Kelly were buddy buddy then Kelly created this new job title and gave it to Healy. Or maybe he was just pissed for all the goals Lindros scored on him during their playing days. But when the mess with Lindros first started to break it was Healy making rude comments about him never working. Which I always thought was strange Healy was never slammed for "breaking the code" of speaking about the internal running of the PA |

Yes, Paul Kelly is on the board, so are a number of media people who blame Lindros for this mess with the PA. I think unless something happens between now and next summer to repair his image (once again), it doesn't look good for Lindros. |

Yes, I belong to those who absolutely love him so I would say he should be in without a doubt. If you leave everything off the ice out you will see a very dominant player. If you talk about the 90's you talk about Lindros. He was feared all over the League. So it shouldn't even be a question if he will get in. I think he deserves it without a doubt. |

Even Bobby Clarke says put Eric in the HOF, Eric deserves to be in there if Cam Neely is in there, Eric was a better player |

Maybe whoever has him tied up in her basement ( okay it's probably Bonnie) needs to tell him he should make a statement and try to clear his name, hopefully he can. With the Hall of Fame ceremonies this weekend, they are already slamming him as unworthy of being put in next year. |

Yeah but they all blame each other. It's time they all shut up and do something. It doesn't do any good to the NHL in general when the PA is fighting like cats and dogs. There will be more unanswered questions than answers |

It now become not who is guilty of wronging doing, but who has done the least. I don't think anyone is innocent .I do believe that most of the trouble lies with the constution and no one person having enough power to do anything; therefore, the are finding ways to diminish the other group thinking it will gain them power. I believe this led to Lindros' problem with Kelly, he read the constutuion one way and thought his job and duties were a certain way and Kelly thought it just tied his hands. I am just waiting for Lindros to weigh in on Penny or at least someone throw under the bus. Mostly though the ones leaving have been blasting Chelios. |
