hey gals... guess what... i fixed my computer by myself tonight... wooo... i'm such a nerd!! haha

bunny, i worry when the guys get a maintenance day too... seems like a few days after that its announced they will be out 2 - 4 weeks... that's been par for the course for the Pens so far this season.

the pp is a mess and it will take a lot to put it back on track, but having someone plant in front of the net the way Malone used to would never hurt... i know the pens all say this, but they really do need to keep things a lot more simple... at least until it starts clicking

Here is the update on Sidney Crosby (absent from practice) and Brooks Orpik (left practice) from head coach Dan Bylsma. Crosby was given a day off while Orpik was cut and needed stitches.

"Brooks' cut is fine," Bylsma said. "Sid just had a maintanence day."

Wow I hope Sid is okay!  Thx Debs and Nona.  Poor Orpik.

OK Madden was talking about the PP and he said what ERrey said, that Geno and Sid BOTH want to play right wall and one of them cant and does the coach have the guts to tell a superstar to play a different position.  ???  neither sid nor geno strike me as someone who would not do what is best for the team...

mk i feel ya mine did the same exact thing last dec and hubbys in the spring i'm starting to think the computer consipracy theory might be warrented that they are built in with a bug to crash because i bet if you talk to people you will found like i did you are not alone and completely different computer habits.

i did hear that they were getting in really late... that sucks, but at least they have today to catch up on their rest... wonder what they normally do when in town a day early... a practice, a rest and a nice dinner??

Thats terrible about your computer.  I'm like you, half the time I want to throw the computer out the window!!  If I didnt love hockey and Geno I would do it sometimes. lol 

The game was a real downer.  Thank goodness Geno got a goal.  I hope he is on a different line where he can be the center on Saturday.   Plus dont the Thrashers play tonight against Boston? So they will be coming off a two game/two day thing. 

I'm off to do some xmas shopping!!  I just want to get finished....and THEN I can enjoy the holiday...

morning gals... i'm sooo frustrated. Last night's game started off well but fizzled really quick, the Sens played hard and deserved the win... just wish the Pens would have worked a bit harder to keep up with them. I felt bad for flower getting yanked, but it just wasn't working for him last night. Sid and Geno also were not creating their usual magic last night either... I though Geno played pretty well, off at times, and Sid was just ok... lol, maybe he was worn out from his "long" run with the torch... hahaha.

Whatever it is I'm sure the guys will be better in the next game... unfortunately i don't feel very confident about the pp being better, I know Geno's goal counts as a pp goal, but the pp just looks awful... disorganized and slow... I'd rather watch them play 5 on 5 the whole game, or even when they're killing they are playing much better... they have to figure it out, if its coaching problems or player problems i don't know... but it has to sort itself out soon, can't win games with the worst or second to worst pp in the league... even if they were around 20th or so that wouldn't be too bad... baby steps

but the real reason i'm frustrated isn't hockey... i wanted to post all these thoughts last night from home... but my damn computer hates me. I just had the hard drive replaced last week and have been using it only for hockey and what I would call normal browsing, i've told my kids they can't use it anymore to go on their kiddy game sites, i don't trust them and i worry about getting my computer screwed up again. So at intermission i'm doing a quick google for girls tights and leggings (a little Christmas shopping)... i clicked on one of the first links that came up and it showed a pair of tights and some sweaters for a second or two then bleep, everything went black... i restarted and kept getting messages about trojans and viruses, i managed to get my virus sweeper started and it cleaned the virus out but now it won't connect to the internet at all... says my home network isn't activated, i'm so frustrated... it was just a normal link, how on earth can it do that to my computer... what kind of idiot thinks thats funny... rrrrrrrrrrr.... and i'm so not techy, i'll likely have to have someone come repair it for me... if it didn't bring me geno treats everyday i'd swear off computers forever!!!!! lol
