On Sunday, August 17th & Monday, August 18th Jaromir Jagr & his Team Jagr will play to charity games. Sunday's game they will play against the first team of the Czech league in Brno, and the following day they will play Ekstraliga in Trinec. Hopefully a good turnout in both games. |

About Putin going into Georgia, well, he's now threatening Poland. I mean it's somewhat ironic Jagr playing in Russia with the # 68 on his back, representing 1968 Prague & Russia " Wir sind wieder da" or "We are back again" and the President of Georgia mentioning '1968' in his television appearance talking about the Russian invasion, and their breaking the cease fire. | I'm with the person that wrote below about being scared about Jagr being there with this stuff going on with Russia and Georgia. I worry about him and Grahame. I hope that the team protects them well and that this conflict ends soon. |

| This is not meant as criticism. But I am somewhat troubled Jagr playing in Russia now, where Putin has decided to invade Georgia, & shoot up the Georgian people, all over the BP pipeline. The Georgian President when talking on the news mentioned Prague '68. I realize that these are Jagr's last few years in professional hockey, and he wants to play& all, but man, this is getting a little heavy. Pictures are great. Where do you find these pic's on Avangard's website. Check out that hair in the Nagano picture, does this guy have great hair or what? Too bad he decided to wear his hair short, if aby should have long hair it's Jagr. |
