i'm starting to think rachel hunter has some serious issues... she said something to the exact following - ‘Because Jarret is well known in his own right in the U.S" she hoped the marriage would help her move out of Rod’s shadow, but it was not to be.’ and that the marriage would define herself as someone other than just another of the many blonde former wives and girlfriends of Rod Stewart."....YEAH RACHEL that's a great reason to get married! i think she must have done something to piss him off and is trying to save her reputation by pretending she has no idea why he did what he did and at this point is just trying to make stolly look like a jerk, because she knows he's done with her. i mean does she really have no clue? he just got up and left her? come on rachel do you think we are that naive to believe that? and here she is throwing her own kids into this saying in the tabloids.... i totally agree, i thought the same thing too! stolly is too mature to be pulling some stunt that she described. everytime he does interviews or is on camera he is completely professional and handles everything the mature way. and of course she is the one who leaks to the press that the wedding's not happening anymore. *rolls eyes* chances of him getting back together with her went from slim to NONE after that fiasco. |

That's true, but there are already two kids involved. i know, but they're not his biological kids so technically he doesn't have a responsibility to them. i was talking about if he and rachel were to have a kid together. |

shit happens... people think they're ready to get married and all but when the time actually comes they finally understand that they're not ready for it. i'm thinking that he wasn't ready for marriage so he contacted all the guests to call it off. instead of working out the issues like some couple do after a broken engagement, they just completely break up and don't wait and see if they're ready later on. another thing could be that he's not ready to have a kid whereas she wants another one asap. |

yeah i think it had to be more than the age difference. she must have done something to cause him break it off..cheat maybe? or maybe stolly did some soul searching and just couldn't married her..wasn't really in love with her. just loved the fact she was an ex supermodel..etc..maybe she is just acting dumb to the media and saying she doesn't know why he dumped her. |

Why is everyone saying it was the age difference that freaked him out.....he was with her for 2 years and they lived together in a house they supposedly bought together.......if it was the age difference he would have freaked out a long time ago......he knew what he was getting into....he knew what he was doing. Although he is younger, he is not a child. Personally, I think it was something else, possibly one of them cheated. I think the reason for the break up goes way beyond the age issue. Just my thoughts..... |

did they break up? i understand that he called the wedding off via email to all the guests..but does that mean they broke up too (i know that's usually the case with calling off a wedding) or was just wedding called off...any confirmation on them breaking up..does he still want to be in relationship with rachel just not ready for marriage or his he done with her? i can totally see the age difference and her having kids freaking him out or maybe he just didn't feel it with her...didn't work out for a number of reasons...hmmm. |
