I have known Jed for most of my life. He met Maggie back in high school, and she too is a great person. I am delighted that they are engaged and wish them nothing but the best. Jed is like a brother to me, and he deserves all the good that has come to him in his life. No one works harder than this kid and no one is a better, classier person than Jed!!! |

Seriously Jed is one of the most underrated players in the NHL. This kid has more HEART than many of the players on ice. I am overjoyed to have this kid in Nashville and can't wait for his return..GO JED and God BLESS |

all of us Ranger fans miss Jed! He was so great to watch on the ice!!! The best was during warm-ups...he would skate around the ice singing to "Dance Dance" by FalloutBoy. Very, very cute!!! What makes him hot is that he has no idea he's hot!!! hehehehe |

I knew Jed in college, really nice guy and very shy. I never dated him or aaaanything like that but I did see him out at the bars with the other hockey guys and he obviously had way more class than most. I'm sure his girlfriend is a good person and a good match for him regardless of how gorgeous she is, because he's a down to earth guy who just happens to be a pro hockey player. |

Ortmeyer is also dealing with blood clots, a problem that has affected him in the past, most significantly two years ago when he missed the first half of the 2006-07 season with a clot in his lung. He is currently taking blood-thinning medication. The 6-foot, 197-pound right wing played in 51 games for the Predators last season, posting four goals, four assists and a minus-eight rating. Ortmeyer will be re-evaluated on both medical conditions in early or mid-October, Trotz said. |

if the girl in the 2 links below is Ortmeyers gf, then they've been dating since he was on the NYR....i saw that girl with him at the beginning of his last season in NY at the knicks game with him. they also showed the two of them on TV at another knicks game....so they've been together for a while |
