Corvo was arrested in November 2002 in Boston after he grabbed a
34-year-old woman's buttocks in a restaurant. Restaurant staff told him
to leave, but Corvo returned, punched the woman and then kicked her
when she fell to the ground, police said. Corvo was given a three-year
suspended sentence after he pleaded guilty to assault. Corvo was also

then they shouldn't be in professional sports. well put well put and he went to the most top noche high schools in america and grew up in 3 largest city in america whats more presure than that |

Did it ever occur to you that maybe there are some players who
just want to play the game and have a life without the media bugging him? then they shouldn't be in professional sports. if corvo was still with ottawa, or on a team like toronto, NYI, etc ... he'd probably have quit hockey, thats how much pressure he can't take |

Let's see, people. Where is Joe from? Chicago. YES! CHICAGO. Most of the other hockey players are either Canadian or from a town in the US that is absolutely devoted to hockey. When Joe was growing up, hockey sucked in Chicago (it's just now getting better) and the media wasn't always obsessing over it like they do in Canadian cities. Anyone like Joe, who is truly one of the nicest hockey players that I've met, is going to crumble under media like. Raleigh is not a big hockey town and if you haven't noticed, Joe has been playing quite well for us because there aren't constantly cameras in his face. Did it ever occur to you that maybe there are some players who just want to play the game and have a life without the media bugging him? He's one of our best and he's obviously proving that he can play very well. Get over yourselves and go take a look at the standings and Corvo stats. |

LOL Ottawa media assholes? I don't think so. The only reason Corvo thinks he wasn't treaty fairly is because he can't stand the spotlight and being noticed. I'm sure he didn't mind the attention when he scored the OT game winner in Game 3 vs Buffalo last year... He can't take the pressure. Ottawa is only a small town when you compare it to Toronto or New York. People don't recognize Corvo because its a small town, people recognize him because hockey is everything in Ottawa. He clearly can't take the pressure. Any interview he gets down on himself... while honesty is great, its not always something you should admit. You want shitty media? Look at Buffalo. And it was Toronto media that started a lot of any "controversies" in Ottawa - they love it ... try to deter attention away from their shitty team. |
