She was a teacher here in Montreal so she must have completed College. If she looks young that is a good thing

 Mike said in the interview they were trying for a year to have a baby. I think they planned to start a familie together

You are right. He is not a faithful husband because HE IS NOT A HUSBAND! He has a girlfriend and they have a child together does not mean they are married. And he refers to her as "girlfriend."

then why on Twitter did he refer to her as his girlfriend and not his wife?
