he might not have a girlfriend because it would be hard being in the NHL, military, Olympics, World Juniors, and all that. She would be hard to see!

from MN...see him alot socially, pretty serious, no-nonsense guy. does not act like he has a girlfriend but also does not act like he is interested in having one. very Scandinavian in his behavior, so no ladies, he is not warm and fuzzy at all! extremely matter-of-fact.

I saw this blog a few years ago and my friend wanted me to post. I didn't then, but I'm surprised its still active. I live in Minnesota and met mikko a few years ago. Whether mikko has a girlfriend or not. It doesn't matter while he's in the states minus her. I didnt know who he was. So, we hung out for a few months then he broke the news of his girlfriend in Finland. I kinda expected that behavior of an athlete so I didn't put much into it. They've been on and off, but were definitely on when we met. Sorry to his girlfriend. I didn't know. Nice guy...just not a good boyfriend. I wish them all the best. Don't waste your time, ladies.

Todays magazines have pictures where Mikko and Emilia are having dinner together in Turku (Mikkos hometown). Emilia is 4 years older than Mikko, and she has a child with finnish actor Mikko Leppilampi. They have divorced, but Emilias lastname is also Leppilampi. They divorced because Emilia wanted to stay in USA, but her ex-Mikko wanted to live in Finland. Well, now Emilia gets back there with new Mikko..
