Nicky is so f_cking amazing. I am glad he is playing more aggressively. It helps everyone, but I am worried about him getting hurt. He is alot bigger and stronger than alot of people realize. -E |

He crosschecked him, he didn't push him down. I'm pissed that it was a weak ass crosscheck though, sheesh if you're going to take a penalty, make it count dammit. |

The same thing happened during the game vs. Wild... I think players are marking and attacking Nicklas because he is the passer.. almost like try to eliminate the source..(of goals) yet, I agree... hope you focus just on the game.. that's what a lot of his fans like him about... I think |

yeah that's what I ment... there was this one game where a guy took him down and Backis got up and pushed that guy down, and got a penalty.... Its just Backis is usually very calm.. and he keeps his head only on the game and like passes and goals.... but now he's one of the first guys to get into a pushing game... Like ast night yeah he was pushed, but it wasn't too bad, and he turned around and hit the guy back... thank god Ovi got into the mix between those two guys... It's just kinda dumb hockey playing in a way.... |

---continued from my previous post.. But if you look at his past two years stats, October is a slow month for him. Compared to that, Oct 2009 was way better.. I mean he picked up where he left off the last season.. Yet, I do hope he keeps his unique style of play (not too aggressive but excellent in protecting the puck).. |

Backis has started to play way too aggressive.... i'm worried I concur... but it is more like he gets irritated more often (vs. aggressive).. used to...he played 'his hockey' no matter what... kept his calmness. Lately, he has been sent to the box for stupid things. His /- has gone down bit and been pointless for the last three games... of course, we all know he will come back.. but wonder something is bothering him. |

What the hell do you mean "too agressive?" This is f_cking hockey, there's no such thing as too aggressive unless you do some Chris Pronger shit. I'm glad he's playing like this, it's about time his balls dropped and he started playing with some toughness. |
