+1. If you saw his Vkontakte and FB you'd know the girls he shows any interest in are all trashy, slutty, easy looking girls. Maybe it's because he's 21 that sex is all that's on his mind. But there are many good guys in the world who have better taste. 

People need to stop fantasy pairing him with these models too. His type is dark-haired, erotic, sexualized girls. Girls rolling around in bedsheets wearing lingerie. Gymnasts or go-go dancers. He's not interested in a beautiful, good-natured girl with family values. Filatov has the same taste as other "partyboy" hockey players. Trashy, model wannabes. He needs to grow up.

More like they have one of those relationships where Svetlana makes him feel guilty for liking other girls on Facebook/Vkontakte. He liked 2 girls' pages today and she made him delete them LOL. But how can you feel sorry for her? It's her own fault. She gets mad at him, makes him apologize to her repeatedly and tell her how much he loves her, then she jumps back into his bed.

She insults other girls anonymously but is she really that different?

I just think he was a better person and a better player before he met Svetlana. It's after he met Svetlana and got caught up in all the petty gossip and drama that everything went downhill for him. Their relationship is just drinking, sex, nightclubs, breaking up and getting back together. I think it's funny how she started everything with her many anonymous questions on Formspring and now she's quietly closing everything down because she has Nikita and she wants to keep him.

Their relationship is a joke too. He's always flirting with other girls or keeping an eye out for beautiful ones. He was inviting girls to see him - girls who turned out to be using FAKE pictures!  And when Svetlana finds out, she gets mad and posts pictures of couples in love. But will she ever move on? Nope! After a few days, she's all "in love" again. She's like the plague. At least his first girlfriend Lena had enough self-respect and consideration for Nikita to just move on when she knew the relationship was not working. 

Do you think if Nikita were a construction worker that Svetlana would keep jumping into his bed and opening up her legs? It's because he's a hockey player and the best she can get. No other reputable athlete would date a girl who's bore her ass to hundreds of people in nightclubs. 

If Nikita were in true love, he would tell everyone about his girlfriend. He wouldn't be looking at other girls for at least a few months. He would be playing the best hockey of his career. With Svetlana, everything is the opposite  He hides the relationship, he openly flirts with other girls and his hockey is the worst it's ever been.

I mean, she's not even that pretty compared to other girls
