They actually aren't together, haven't been for a long time, and most likely won't be back together.

That stuff's old news. Why bring it up now? Congrats and good luck to them - they're going to need it.

Anyway, back to the topic of the board. No he does not have a "girlfriend" - he probably has several. No he's not married. I've seen him in action, so no I wouldn't date him. No I have not dated him, especially given his rep. There was one that used to visit him here from Newfoundland (not Jennifer) and she was aware of his girlfriend and didn't care because he didn't seem to. Might be a nice guy, but not bf material.

Congrats to him I guess. Idk. I mean if I knew a guy cheated on me a bajillion times (he certainly didnt hide it) I def. would not sleep with him again, much less sleep with him without a condom which further sides with the idea that she tried to get pregnant. I think it was a dire last attempt to lock this guy down, especially since he dumped her beforehand. As for June month, he was seeing another girl in Florida from what I heard, and there was also more than one girl from up in Canada visiting him while he was here. Clowe, Seto and Murray are infamous for picking up at bars. More power to them, if I was a young, single guy with alot of money, I probably would too. I hope everything is going well with the baby, however I feel really bad for the next woman he chooses to have a relationship with or marry. |

Define 'together.' Because depending on the meaning, there are alot of women that have been 'together' with him in the last year, especially this past summer.

I heard the baby was a month early... just curious. Conception time is not hard to figure out. She would have had to have gotten pregnant in early June. Were they together then?

Oh dear. Who lets these 12 year olds with horrible commands of English on these boards?? "well dont say nothing," for example. Firstly, go to the Sharks site and see how many comments about what a great player he's been lately - you won't find many. Secondly, anyone with a working pair of EYES knows what this guy is up to out at the bars; we've all seen him. It's laughable in San Jose, I can't imagine it's any more discreet in Newfoundland. No one said he wasn't a nice person; but bragging about a paycheck you don't deserve? Not so nice. JMO.

when has he EVER acted like he was in a monogamous relationship? hahaha on the prowl 24-7. there were comments on the Sharks chat room about his lackluster performance on the ice, and some guy made a comment about him counting his money and blowing it at strip clubs! if you want an easy 'night' look no further than this guy. stable or committed relationship? PASS.

I saw him sitting at the bar at the restaurant where I work in San Jose a couple weeks ago, macking on some random hot chick and bragging about his huge signing bonus... so he definitely wasn't acting like anyone in a monogamous relationship. |

I just want to clarify that I don't mean it as an insult to say that her or the baby are the biggest losers. I meant it as a reality. It's pretty obvious that she wanted marriage from him, and let's face it, who wouldn't want to be married to her baby's daddy. And also, in spite of the baby having daddy around sometimes, it certainly is not the same as having two loving parents in the same household. That is a huge loss already. I'm sure she'll do the best she can, yet speaking as a single mom myself, it is not the same as having a loving united family, no matter how much you try to make up for it. It is a loss and his loss too. Not being there on a daily basis to wake up and tuck your baby in at night is one of the best things that a person could experience. |

I think he will be a part of the kids life...but won't be around much. Plus, he probably wants to settle down and at some point, maybe have a family with someone else? It will be complicated, but I don't agree with rushing to get married, especially when the other person is an ex. I personally think he did the right thing. I wish him well.

I dunno... sounds like she and her baby are the big losers here... when a man loves a woman and she's having his baby he marries her. That baby will be born and will not know his/her daddy... if you ask me, that baby will be the biggest loser from having no daddy and a delusional mommy. |
