ya I know right !!

Volchie has a wife (of five years), and last I heard-one son-Anton Junior.  It's cool to see a young guy with a marriage working out...  Makes a nice change in the NHL.

Volchenkov is one of the few Sens that shows up for EVERY game...  He blocks more shots than Auld and Gerber put together.  Only Alfie can match him in terms of heart.  With a little more confidence offensively, he'd be a Norris Trophy candidate.

Anonymous wrote on Sun, 20 Apr 2008 17:16:10 GMT

HA! Well I ruined that one, suppose to read...

Anton isn't afraid of pucks, pucks are afraid of Anton.

Vancouver Sun columnist Cam Cole turned his attention away from golf in Augusta, Georgia, where he is preparing to cover the Masters, to take this shot at the Senators: " ... Well, they didn't so much make the playoffs as run out of games in a valiant attempt to miss them. ... So, the only question is, will the Sens insist on the full four games before running up the white flag, or just concede by e-mail?"

Montreal Gazette editors, still giddy that the paper finally has a playoff team to cover again
Anonymous wrote on Fri, 11 Apr 2008 00:31:00 GMT
Yes! Especially when I get to come on here and rub it in your face!
Anonymous wrote on Fri, 11 Apr 2008 00:15:43 GMT

LOL Why? Is it going to make you that proud to beat a slumping team? You must be hard-up for accomplishments.

Anonymous wrote on Fri, 11 Apr 2008 00:14:24 GMT
As long as we beat your boys.
Anonymous wrote on Fri, 11 Apr 2008 00:12:39 GMT

They have people, they have streaky people. Which is why your pussies wanted to play us while we're down. That depth has never gotten you far in the playoffs before, and I'll enjoy watching the Habs smear you across the ice.

Anonymous wrote on Fri, 11 Apr 2008 00:10:07 GMT
Our team has depth so it wouldn't be a problem. Sens organization admits they don't have people.
Anonymous wrote on Fri, 11 Apr 2008 00:07:07 GMT
That's why I said trying, Sherlock. I'd like to see your team handle things without Malkin.
Anonymous wrote on Fri, 11 Apr 2008 00:06:25 GMT
Nope, they didn't. And I still love them. Same can't be said for your city of bandwagoners last year.
Anonymous wrote on Fri, 11 Apr 2008 00:05:31 GMT
Were we watching the same game? Your boys didn't make up for shit last night.
Anonymous wrote on Fri, 11 Apr 2008 00:04:11 GMT

I'd rather have my Sens lose while trying to make up for missing their best players than have my team give me big "fuck you" and deliberately lose to their rivals.

Anonymous wrote on Fri, 11 Apr 2008 00:01:23 GMT
Leisurely skate? Cheap moves? Sounds like your're describing your Sens!
Anonymous wrote on Fri, 11 Apr 2008 00:00:32 GMT

Someone should ask Murray to compare Ottawa's performance in Game 1 against the Pens performance Sunday against Philly.

Anonymous wrote on Thu, 10 Apr 2008 23:58:18 GMT

yeah they just handed the game over thats bull and you know it the pens are better get over it

Okay, then explain what happened? Did you fucking watch them, they were having a leisurely little skate around the rink. It was the cheapest move I've ever seen a pro team make, and many of your fellow fans have admitted that. If they're better, why couldn't they get a goal against Philly?
