Brandon's not a bad player, but he is definitely not worth the $4 million a year for 4 years.

He hasn't shown enough to get that much. But his contract now is fine.

Plus, he has been known to go through major slumps.

Well he thinks he's worth all this money and deserves more than what the rangers have offered him, and he's not, Rangers have offered him a faire deal. You would think he would just sign the contract because no other teams have any money left so he's not going to get a big contract that he's looking for. He's being selfish and it's rediculous. It's okay if he wants to do this because with the new guys, I'm sure the Rangers won't have a problem putting the puck in the net this year with or without Dubinsky.

exactly! Dubinsky hasn't put up the numbers yet to show that he is worth a big contract. As much as I would love him here, I think he and his agent are being really really ridiculous. And Brandon's being unprofessional too. Most teams don't want him or don't have the money so he should just sign now and get a bigger contract later, if he proves he deserves one. Honestly, by bringing in Vinny Prospal, the Rangers may not need Brandon as much anymore.

brenna is his girlfriend and obviously nobody knows anything about melissa or brenna because they are both nice girls and nothing bad happened between any of them. it was a simple breakup. i am friends with both girls and everyone is happy and neither of them are ugly psycho or gold diggers everyone just needs to let brandon be and stay focused on his hockey career not who he is seeing.
