If the lines are switched every game, how do you get into a groove? It's like dancing...you have to have a few practices together before doing the tango...or someone will spin into a nearby table...They can't work like a team under these conditions...and the only way to win is as a team.
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Sat, 19 Mar 2011 15:54:54 GMT
RIGHT YOU ARE!   the fact that the team is feeling demoralized comes directly down from the top. I say to anyone reading this... get the message to the team that we know they are infinitely able to do more than all they desire and dream. All they need is already deep inside them and cannot be checked. Relax, listen to your inner hearts, and go have fun. Atta boy!

Im so sad Army wont be playing (most probably this season) because of a broken foot. Its such a coincidence that Army, recently names Alternate Captain broke his foot. Following him was Komisarek who has a lower body injury and will not be playing tonight....strange eh! I hope the Leafs make it to the playoffs....Miss you Army!

"but is one of his eyes brown and the other blue?"

It is in that picture!  Wow, I never noticed that either!  Maybe the flash went wonky but I'll def keep an eye out for it in other pics!

And seriously, Mel is a very pretty girl.  She has gained weight, but no more than a normal post pregnancy mother would have.  And just because she didn't spend every second in the gym trying to lose the weight she gained after she gave birth doesn't make her a pig.  she just wants to spend time with her baby and her husband.  she looks very healthy and normal.

I think Mel is gorgeous (I'll be honest... I'm jealous)! I met them randomly a few years back and not only were they a beautiful couple they were both some of the nicest people I've ever met! Congrats on the new baby!! LOVE the name :)
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Tue, 14 Sep 2010 03:18:07 GMT

Did you ever stop to think that maybe she's more concerned with being a new mother and spending the off-season with her husband than worrying about shedding the weight right away? Who cares how many pounds she gained or what foods she was eating? A person doesn't gain any less weight in a pregnancy just because their husband is in the public eye and they certainly shouldn't be held to a higher standard because of it either. Besides, in a few months Mel's body will bounce back... You on the other hand will still be in front of your computer bashing people you don't know.

oh boo hoo! why so sensitive? the picture was posted for all the world to see...i didn't post it and i'm certainly not the only one shocked by her frumpy appearance. the fact is...she's fat and you're in denial.

Anonymous (Sophomore) wrote on Tue, 14 Sep 2010 02:40:23 GMT
what picture are you saying she looks so awful in?  she is gorgeous, and you just sounds JEAL!
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Tue, 14 Sep 2010 02:13:38 GMT
So does it make you feel better to come on her and give your ignorant opinion on her weight??? Please answer my question...does it make you feel like a better person to comment on such things? Again, trust me, you will grow up one day, perhaps have a baby of your own and realize how your judgement is so vile and unnecessary. The world would be a much better place without you in it, AND thats a FACT that everybody on here could agree on!

I'm the dimwit?  haha, that's why friends of mine who had c sections were asked if they wanted one.  right.  check your facts, sweetie.

"SO, if Mel had a premature, underweight baby but looked her old self now, you people would be commenting on how selfish she was on not caring for her baby."

Very true.  she looks fine.  she looks healthy for a woman who gave birth not too long ago.  you people just enjoy finding reasons to hate her so much.
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Mon, 13 Sep 2010 13:28:25 GMT

or maybe she just didn't starve herself and had like a 5 lbs 11 ounce starved baby.

she married a millionaire. she can afford a trainer- that is, if she actually cares. Maybe she's happy with her husband and child ;)

Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Mon, 13 Sep 2010 13:10:57 GMT
or maybe she just ate everything in sight
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Mon, 13 Sep 2010 12:52:09 GMT
okay....so lets go through this again: Mel gained so much weight because 1) she developed gestational diabetes, 2) the doctor told her the baby "needed" her to gain 75lbs, 3) she had elective c-section so she can't diet or exerscise months after the fact and 4) because she had a low birth weight premature baby, so she needed a c-section and therefore can't watch her diet or so much as walk around the block because she had a c-section months ago. lmfao...what will be the excuse tomorrow?!!
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Mon, 13 Sep 2010 12:45:50 GMT
pfft....mel was an eating machine....nuff said.
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Mon, 13 Sep 2010 11:43:16 GMT

My sister works on a delivery unit. C sections normally take a woman about 2 months or so before she is allowed to do any exercise or strenuous activity. According to her, it's much more serious and worrisome if a baby is a premature delivery (under 6 pounds). Most of the time, a low birth weight is caused by drinking, smoking or not eating enough by the mother (fear of gaining weight is one reason). SO, if Mel had a premature, underweight baby but looked her old self now, you people would be commenting on how selfish she was on not caring for her baby.

Leave the woman alone. Her child is probably her priority, not weight loss and hitting the clubs to show off.

Anonymous (Legend) wrote on Mon, 13 Sep 2010 04:55:55 GMT
My son was a footling breach (his leg was bent at the knee and his foot up by the small of his back) which meant an immediate c-section for me. Worst damn pain during the recovery I've ever experienced. Not to mention I had complications and ended up back in the hospital for two weeks. No sane person would EVER go through that willingly.
Anonymous (Sophomore) wrote on Mon, 13 Sep 2010 04:50:14 GMT

yeah...you can always find some hack that will do any number of surgeries. There are so many more risks in a c-section that it's hard to believe any intelligent woman would elect to do so. mel gained a ton of weight though... maybe there was a concern that the baby would be very big which is a common reason for a caesarian.

Anonymous (Legend) wrote on Mon, 13 Sep 2010 04:41:30 GMT
There are actually OB that will preform c-sections at a mother's request. Don't quite understand why they would want to undergo one if it wasn't necessary...
Anonymous (Sophomore) wrote on Mon, 13 Sep 2010 04:31:38 GMT
btw dimwit....you don't CHOOSE to have a c-section. lol
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Mon, 13 Sep 2010 04:30:13 GMT
rotflmao....wow...how many more excuses can you come up with. it's been months.....maybe she should start by putting down the fork.
Anonymous (Sophomore) wrote on Mon, 13 Sep 2010 03:32:08 GMT
Seriously, she does not look pregnant at all.  she looks fabulous for a post baby mother.  every woman gains weight and all lose at different speeds.

also, c sections are VERY popular these days so if she got one of those, she had to recover from that!  so she physically COULDN'T exercise!
