Great trade for the Flames. He was a problem in the dressing room and hasn't performed for the past 2 years def wasn't worth the 6.5 a year they were paying him. As a Flames fan they should of got rid of him last summer and signed Cammalleri, Jokinen and Dawes don't even make up for the huge lose of Cammy... |

they won't do it like that. because then calgary will be looking fo a defensemen. its not going to happen. your dream of spezza coming in would have to either come for a 3 way deal with someone else, or you get rid of a good forward and a draft pick for spezza.the team isnt doing that bad, at least they arent the oilers. |

Actually no he is not failthful to Elisha. i had a friend who does work for the Flames and gets to go on some of the road trips. I had the opprutinity of meeting phaneuf at a club in calgary last weekend. From what I hear, he thinks he's all that and a bag of chips...I think not. Not only is he a lousy defenceman he is also the biggest jerk with the biggest ego.
