He'll guarantee you a loss when you play him. Should retire. TB farm team goalie could do better whoever he is. Retire Roli and save yourself anymore embarrasing outings please:)

talks cheap pal. put up or shut up as the saying goes. i would not want to face the rubber these goaltenders face game after game.

As a doctor would say" try making that surgery yourself"  well, try yourself to make saves in the goal like Roloson has!  Amazing....love you Rolie

To the jerk who said "too old for NHL", hope you lose your job at 41....Nobody's perfect, that's why we're "human".  But Rolie was amazing under fire and breathed life into this Lightning team with his experience, drive and leadership and I give credit to Ownership, GM and Coach for their choice and confidence in him

Stupid Rollie facts.

Has never lost a playoff elimination game.
Has never played in a playoff game where his team doesn't advance to the finals.

Dwayne was always a great kid, he played junior hockey for us in Thorold..I remember back then he dated a nice little girl named Shelley from waterford, on. I have met, his wife, and know his family, he comes from a good family and I know he loves his boys dearly.

He stops pucks all the time. I love him. You should watch him play. He does very well. He's also 41 years of age. Now that's an athlete.

Big Islander Fan here the guy lacks  big time in shootouts he broke even Last Year.Only cause the Islanders had to score on almost every single Breakaway in the shootout. He also cant stop any rebound efforts and everygame he wins he allows 5 goals average in the net we have to win in Ot like 6 to 5.Yeah Edmonton should have been first in my eyes and won the cup he lost it for them dont care whate anyone says.Only thing good is if he doesnt play for months he is as good if he played for months so thats great for a backup on a great team were theres no rebounds. Please heal up Dipietro we need you so bad!!!!!!!!!!!!

Roloson is the big name on trade deadline day. Who wants him?

Dwayne, On behalf of the fans of Edmonton, I would like to thank you for your outstanding efforts here.In my oppion you were not treated fairly here by many of the fans or the Oilers organization. You solely are the reason the team did as good as it did while you were Edmonton.I think a lot of people are starting to realize that here in Edmonton as we sit near the bottom standings of the league without you.I will never forget that game you played last season in San Jose, I have watched a lot of hockey and a lot of goaltenders in my time but that was the most amazing game I have ever seen a professional athlete play, you won the game basically single handly. Anyways the people of New York are very lucky to have you. I wish you the best.

roli is actually a really good goaltender. just b/c he gets put into net witha an 8-4 win cumming back from not playin for 2 months doesnt mean shit. hes a great goalie that deserves just as much respect as every other goalie.
Anonymous wrote on Fri, 21 Mar 2008 16:28:18 GMT
what the heck did macT thought when he put roli as starting goalie when garon has played with the 'nucks and won most of those games with garon as a goalie. just because we smoked phoenix ass 8-4 doesn't mean anything.

I know a bouncer in Edmonton and during the playoffs he was out at the bars, and he takes off his wedding ring when he goes out. The bar stayed open longer for the Oilers that night and my bouncer friend was sitting next to him when Roli got a phone call from his wife, and she must have been telling him to come home. I guess he muttered a not so nice comment, took his ring out of his pocket put it back on and left to go home.

Anonymous wrote on Tue, 04 Mar 2008 23:32:55 GMT
they did that b/c they thoght he was going to get traded but he didnt. i think they might have moved back to edmonton. i heard that in one of his interviews that was shown on Sportsnet.
