Nabokov is MARRIED he lives with his wife Tabitha and I definitly know they have a daughter. But I think they have two children. He is always talking about them =)

Nabby may be past his prime, but he's not a bad goalie. It's not completely his fault that we lost to Chi. To win the cup we need better d-men and a more consistent goaltender.

he has a good goals against average, but thats cause he doesnt get lots of shots per game. he is actually a very bad reflex goalie, and the sharks will never see a c up with na bby in the net.

whatevs guys team russia is not a part of the sharks so stop bringing it up he is still a solid goaltender, the entire team is still just trying to work out the kinks here and there, if you havent noticed, our defense hasnt been very good and our offense has been dwindling.. so lets put out some encouraging words for the entire team. they need confidence and talking smack is definitely not going to work in thier favor.. good luck tonight boys !! we all love you !! you will always have the support of your fans !! :)

Evgeni Nabokov is one of the best goaltenders out there and if you dont understand that and if you think its his fault the sharks lose in the playoffs then youre wrong because we need him. there is no team without a goalie and nabby is our guy. take it or leave it,  if you were real shark fans you wouldn't be downing on any player on our team. every guy has their ups and downs and if you really liked the sharks you would accept that.

Canada lost to Russia in 2006. HAHAAH!!! taking 7th place. Russia has never taken 7th place!! Canada only wins gold when they play on NHL size ice... anywhere in Europe, Canada has not been closer than 4th place... I wonder why.............ahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, I need Doug Wilson needs to get his head checked - since he continues to keep this looser around. The common theme on why the Sharks have never made it to the stanley cup - you guessed it - Nabokov. The entire team around him is probably the best ... but with this looser in the mix - there are no guarantees. He is well past his prime. If I were Doug Wilson, I will trade this guy for a pack of cards.

Nabokov is brutal, he's a main reason why they lost in the 1st round of the playoffs last postseason. The Sharks took away Marleau's captain status holding him accountable, the GM should be looking for a goaltender that can step up in the playoffs.

I know for a fact that he and his wife were engaged before he became the No. 1 goalie in San Jose.  During the preseason, he hadn't settled his contract yet and was in the stands watching.  Being a Russian nerd, I knew who he was, those most people around us didn't seem to recognize him.  Anyway, she was with him and had an engagement ring on.  (I remember vividly because I was bummed).  He had only been in San Jose one year I think...and it wasn't a full year.  This is before he won the Calder.
