i'm glad i was able to hit such a nerve.  1) there IS such a thing as literal ignorance-use your shiny little pc to look it up; but 2) if you read my earlier post you would have known that i said people were taking things too literally on here, and that i think that's ignorant. and there's definitely a continued use of taking things literally on here, and i maintain that's ignorant. i use your comments to me about the (non)existence of the phrase as the prime example of this.

i also find it hilarious and a bit suspicious that you are ridng MY ass for posting that someone bought a house, to which i did not dislose the location (didn't even tell you the city), but there are people on here commenting on jonathan's ALLEGED infidelities by indicating not only the women's names, but their physical descriptions, dates and places they have been allegedly seen together.  i would think that those details are WAY MORE personal, private and inappropriate, and would have cause to piss someone off than someone saying he's a new homeowner.  dontcha think?

either way, i'm sure other people are are sick of this immature argument as i am, so this will be my last comment on the matter.

There is a world of difference between property sales being public information vs a supposed "friend" posting about someone in the public eye buying a house on a public message board where people come to gossip about his private life. Yet, you're too stupid to understand the difference. But hey, since you're such a good "friend", why don't you go and read those newspapers. wow, you people are literal.  my point is: even if they are living in a cardboard box that SHE bought or a gigantic beautiful home that HE bought-they are still very, very much together.

and, it's not uncommon for athletes girlfriends/wives not to have jobs (i wouldn't necessarily call that "freeloading").  but, as of a couple months ago, she was actively looking for a job but was not having any luck finding anything in her field.

"worst player on the team".  you can't be serious.  hudler and bert have to be on the list of "worst" so far this season.  and zetterberg, who we all still love, has been a let down so far, to say the least. heck, even my boy cleary isn't having the year he's supposed to be having.  and don't even get me started on what a waste of a salary commodore's contract is.  there are a lot of wings that are inconsistent or not skating well.  i wouldn't put E at the top of that list at all.

does E make mistakes?  yes.  has he produced as much as he has in the past?  not so far.  but his game is improving.  he's taking more shots and trying to become a more offensive defenseman.  it's tough on a guy when he's trying too hard to impress or do too much. plus, i think he has heart, and that goes a long way with this organization.  which, if you really are "around the org", you already know that.

aahhh, after that tough loss last night, i needed a good laugh.  thank you.

he's been taking a lot of shots lately, so i was glad to see one go in for him on sunday.  and too bad zetterberg got his stick on the puck last, otherwise he would have been credited with an assist. 

i, for one, hope they re-sign him at the end of the season.  he's developing well and has a lot of potential.

do you really think he's in the top 100 in the whole NHL for +/- just by accident?  remember, he's one of the only guys on the team that fights anymore, so some of those minutes are well earned roughing or fighting penalties.  don't think so, ask steve ott.
