I thought he was married... but apparently he is dating some girl I went to high school with, which she supposedly confirmed on ye olde Facebook.

Of course, I can't confirm it... but at one of the Sens Telethons he was interviewed by Ian Mendes who mentioned something about his wife...and he had a look that said "oh yeah, maybe I should just keep the whole separated/divorced thing down"

Who knows...

Matt Carkner is one tough fighter. He was just named one of the tough guys of the decade in the new book Hockey Fights: The NHL's Toughest Fighters 2000-2010. Great book!
