It might be hard to do since he has a game Monday night, will leave Tuesday for New Jersey for a game on Wednesday night, come back that night to Ottawa for a Thursday night game, leave Friday for Boston for a Saturday night game, come back to Ottawa that night, probably no practice on Sunday, leave Monday for California where they will be until December 6.  December is a very crazy for him.

 But then again, he says they always make it work and she says they see each more than people think they do.  I wonder if they do a lot of private jets like Mike did last weekend in Nashville.  It gets them in and out quickly and privately.

Carrie is pre-taping the Faith Hill Xmas thing tonight in LA, as there were tweets about it. She is pre-taping the CNN Heroes thing tomorrow night in LA, and Sunday are the American Music awards.

After that, I think she said she has the entire week of thanksgiving off...so I bet she spends it with Mike.

i dont think the problem with the teeth was if they were fake or not, it was if are they permanently in his mouth. LOL carrie said in an interview she couldnt date a guy who could take his teeth out it was too creepy.

I do agree with Carrie however on the topic of a long-distance relationship. They are extremely difficult and they hardly ever work out. I don't think that Carrie and Mike will be any different. I just don't see them lasting. They both have two totally different lives.

I don't know why the fact that Mike has a few false teeth would have been such a worry for Carrie. Most people in show business have "false teeth." The only difference is that the false teeth that people in show business have are called veneers or crowns, and most athletes have implants. To me veneers or crowns are every bit as "fake" as hockey players implants. Hilary Duff is one good example of that. Very few people in show business have totally natural, god-given teeth. Most pay a lot of money for their beautiful smiles.

She was only showing a fun side of her as Ellen obviously made her feel very relaxed.  The comments are very easy to figure out, and anyone who thought they were bd are just jealous.  She just asked her band mate if he had any teeth because as a man or woman do you want to date some one with out no teeth. Secondlly where does he live in Canada, that is a long way from Nashville.  And it in most peoples mind is a long distance relationship and is very hard to work on and she obviuosly was scared about that . But for the grace of god are doing very well. Thank God. And I hope everything works out well for them. As they seem like they belong together. A\nd the skit at the front of the Ellen show was cute. Ellen couldnt stop laughing.

Carrie clearly said she loves Canada. She just meant that the long distance made the prospect of dating someone that far away a thumbs down. But that would be the case with  any location that is far from Nashville, not just Canada.

i wish i could see just 1 picture of them together -- aside from the 1 she was sitting on his lap. they look gorgeous together! but 1 is enough. it's nice that they're not too showy, and I respect that. it's refreshing 2 see very high profile people who are not putting themselves "out there" unlike a lot of celebrities right now.

It was only risky in that someone could totally have ripped it out of context. Ellen's the one who brought up hockey being a rough sport and the lack of teeth thing. But in all the recaps of the interview in the media people seem to have gotten what Carrie meant: she obviously was joking and if anything she was joking about how silly she was at the time. It's the kind of joke Carrie used to be afraid to make but like you said I'm glad she's feeling more comfortable now.

I love Mike's comment to the Sun!

Did you guys see that Kovy's out the next couple of games? He's flying to Russia for his wife's mother's funeral. Prayers to their family.

I'm Canadian too and I'm the person that wrote the comment at 18:06. I don't take offense to anythng she said...I never said I did.  Its clear to me and other fans that she's joking. All I'm saying is that people who don't know her, and don't know that she is from Oklahoma(where hockey is inexistent), and don't know that she has said before that teeth are important etc. might take it the wrong way. It was sort of a risky joke.

Since I live in Canada, I give my opinion about her interview...  First, the thumbs down to hockey, well you either love the sport or hate the sport.  She is American and it isn't as popular in the States.  She has already said that she didn't know anything about hockey.

Secondly, the thumbs down to "own teeth"...I have ask the forum, doesn't everyone have characteristics you look for in a mate?  What is the difference in what she said to a guy saying he only dates "athletic and slim women?"

Thirdly, the thumbs down to my country was quickly explained by her and it being because that is a really long distance.  Nothing wrong with it as I would say a thumbs down to anyone in the States. 

People that take offense to anything she said are just looking for something to crucify her with IMO.

Well I think the Thumbs down came from the fact that Carrie has said before that she likes her guys with all their teeth and that she could never date a guy that could take out his teeth and its widely known that hokey players lose their teeth which is why the next question she asked was "does he have his own teeth" and then she even said that the thumbs down to Canada was because of the fact that its so far away from where she is and she tours alot. Obviously though none of that matters anymore since they've been together for almost a year so i dont see why there should be any uproar against her in Canada.

I have a feeling the thumbs down to "he plays hockey" isn't going to go over well with the Canadian crowd. Especially since it followed with a thumbs down to Canada too. All in good fun I know, but I can see some interpreting it the wrong way. Hopefully not though. I love that Carrie is showing personality now.

I must admit I do have my reservations about Carrie but watching some of her interviews lately has mellowed me. My instincts are usually not wrong but will keep an open mind. And I don't like that either that some comments just get deleted, I can see if they are really derogative but everyone is entitled to their opinion even if it doesn't match the general one...

they were in a room and it started out with carrie and ellen singing a few lines from BHC. They also had a salad infront of them and carrie said she asked for the dressing to be on the side, not on the salad. she then stood up, got a bat and went behind the camera. at this point, you can only see ellen but you can hear carrie smashing things from behind...its on youtube already =)

-Ll-carrie-ellen Carrie Underwood tells Ellen DeGeneres today on her show that she and hockey player boyfriend Mike Fisher have been dating for "close to a year now. That's the longest relationship I've had. I joke and say my dogs are the longest relationship ever."

Carrie explains that one of her band members, "was trying to hook us up." but she was reluctant, partly because Fisher plays a dangerous sport and partly because he lives in Canada. "I love Canada but that is a long distance relationship." But she admits to Ellen, "We see each other more than people think we see each other.  We don't go out like publicly we just do our thing."

Ellen then asked about them moving in together. "No, call me old fashioned. He's there. I'm here. We're both doing our thing and it's good. The next guy I move in with will be my hubby. Who ever that is. I'm not saying it's going to be him."

After some badgering, Ellen finally says, "Well, you've been with him for a year so it seems like you'll marry him and have babies."

"Apparently," says Carrie, "I don't know."

Are you saying he plays better when she isn't at the game?  I don't think so.  He has played very well at most of the games she has attended.  In fact, the ones I have been to when she has been there, he plays a lot harder.

Fish's comment about the fans was a joke referring to the media hype that there will be more Maple Leafs fans at the game tonight. The Maple Leafs are considered Canada's team or at least Ontario's team. That's why Ottawa rarely gets on HNIC.

I was at the Opry, saw Mike come out of the SUV and then out of the bus when she was leaving...it was awesome to see him with her, I love how he supports her. I am shocked that US Weekly quoted something from her blog on the FC, only members are suppose to see the blog....that means something is NOT right!

I dont think its uncommon for reporters that work for magazines to join a fan club if the blogs are only for the members. They get "exclusive" access to stuff.

After nearly one year of dating, Carrie Underwood says she has no plans to move in with hockey player Mike Fisher.

OK! magazine recently quoted a pal as saying that the country crooner, 26, "did clear out space in his closet and stocked his kitchen with her favorites!"

But on her official fan club site, Underwood writes: "I read something recently that a certain someone and I were moving in together. This is beyond not true...just another example of people making stuff up out of thin air!"

She goes on to say that "neither one of us would ever do that. I would never live with my boyfriend...not my style."

Still, things are getting serious.

She praises Fisher, 29, on the liner notes of her new album, Play On.

There are people that have them and ran into them at the aquarium and such but won't release them and I don't blame them because they don't want to be the one that spreads them about when they were trying to keep it private.  At the aquarium, it was pretty much a private tour.

AJ: In case you didn't know, Carrie already denied the story in one of her blogs saying neither she nor Mike would do that kind of thing. The story is your classic tale of a tabloid seeing a happy celeb in the news, and spinning something out of that. Then the story spreads. With Carrie in LA this week I wouldn't be surprised if she were asked about it and denied it again.

Carrie Underwood is ready to really commit to her relationship with hockey BF Mike Fisher. Sources close to the couple say that Mike has asked Carrie to move in with him up in Canada… and she said yes!

That's a long way from Oklahoma!

But there is one small snag in this plan of theirs. Carrie is on the road a lot, so she had to let him know that she couldn't fully commit to the move. However, the source says that:

How sweet.

So is marriage not too far off? According to the same source, it has been discussed and even brought up to the parental units!

Does it really matter what type of flights Carrie uses? Whatever way Mike or Carrie arrive for events or seeing one another is really irrelevant. The important thing is the effort made from both people to make the relaltionship work. I could not imagine how difficult it must be for both of them and I think we should praise them for maintaining as well as they have! Good job Fisherwood!

Sometimes she has flown SW though which is all coach but I think sometimes that is because when she takes Ace, not all airlines will allow you to take the dog on with you as easily.  And I heard SW does.

I was just sayin what I THOUGHT i heard, and that was also coming from things i've heard from fans, not that flying coach or first class would matter

Even if she did keep the jet which i knew she didnt I wouldnt think she'd still have the flyer miles, I was just using that as an example that getting a private jet is possible

Why is everyone arguing over a March 2009 game in Atlanta?  They met in October 2008 and was know at least they had a date on December 31, 2008, whether that was a first date or not, I guess they know that for sure...we just speculate.

To me what it he most important is that they are obviously really trying to make this work and see each other when they have the smallest break even if just for a day and no matter the cost. Love conquers all.

It was the Thrasher game IN Atlanta on January 14 that Carrie went with Lindsay to the game and she was giving facebook updates. Someone also saw Carrie by the buses. It was March 28th game in Atlanta that they went to the aquarium.

I think this is the Atlanta story-

Carrie met Mike in Atlanta March 2009 for one of his games-they took an off hour tour of the aquarium-staff took some pictures and posted those on the Aquarium website i believe it was.Carrie asked for those pictures to be taken down and they were.Some great pictures of Carrie & Mike are in Atlanta floating (pun) around at the Aquarium somewhere.

She wasn't quoted on the first date being on New Year's Eve part so technically we don't know for sure if that is accurate or the writer's assumption. It's for sure the 1st time they were spotted together that was reported by the media.

Sophomore 19:30, the Atlanta game in question was definitely in March 2009 not December 2008. Carrie had a concert in Winnipeg on December 2 2008 and one in Madison Wisconsin on December 4 2008.

The Atlanta game was January 14, 2009 in Atlanta.  She went to another game in Atlanta in March as well.  Their first date was NYE of last year.  They were probably talking on the phone for quite some time before that though

I don't think this is accurate since Carrie was still on tour at that time.

For a normal person chartering a flight is expensive but a number of sports guys to it for just things like Fisher did. I know a number of players do it around Christmas since they only get the two days off and if they want to go home. I know Lindros use to charter a plane to fly home to his mommy and daddy every Christmas.

well i know coming off of idol she won a private jet for a certain amount of time maybe she just kept it rented? but i've heard she just always fly's commercial. I believe she even said she flies coach instead of first class. but if she did have to get somewhere i'm sure the label has a jet?

I don't post much here and lurk more than anything, but I had to say that I just love these two together.  I still am amazed at how he would fly to see his GF for just one day, but that tells me they really love each other and really will do whatever it takes to make it work.  Those private jets are expensive too! Wow, he definitely loves her so much too.  God bless them both and I hope they enjoy their day together. They are both very lucky people.

They are so in love, Carrie is off the entire week of Thanksgiving so from LA will see Mike, "compromise" that is why it is working, like Mike said, they always make it work for them", so for any trolls, eat your heart out.....

The Sens must have an off day today, they've had alot of Sunday off lately, too bad they have such a bad Holiday schedule. They have an away game on the 23rd and away game of 26th. Not much time to go see family or for family to visit them.

probably a surprise...you could see she really looked different. like she was so happy but that she had to contain it. but even if it was not a surprise, it definitely made her really happy. when you're happy in love, it comes across, no matter how much you try to keep it to yourself.
