I think you're talking about Fyet, Sophomore. Elina can't shop with those girls much less have a fashion blog like theirs.

If you look at Nik's past performance, his big NHL career might be over before Elina's able to get preggers. At this point, he has a Swedish girl to worship the ground he walks on, and all he has to do is allow her to hire an inexpensive decorator for modestly priced furnishings and massive amounts of modestly priced clothes and assessories. With a salary like his, it's a cinch. He doesn't have to worry about a girl from a different background who challenges his mind or creates hurdles he's unable to jump through.  However, this too will get old. After awhile, Elina will be a middle-aged housewife having seen somewhat better days. No one will care about her closet, clothes, makeup, hair, jewelry. As it is, her blog isn't exactly fashion, it's actually a blog to showcase purchases. Fashion shows what's in, how to mix patterns and styles and designers, not what the author has in her closet or what she says needs to come to mamma.

I think she might be trying to emulate true fashion scions such as the two friends running Xyet. Unfortunately, she's worlds apart from the brains of Ferebee and friend.

I admit Elina used to be alright before but now she looks increasingly f*cking psychotic! I swear she discovered a push up bra like a few months ago and now you never see her without major cleavage. I bet she wears it to clean the house.

And what's with the white eyeliner and the obvious lip gloss on her cupid's bow? Models do that for important photoshoots and world-reknowned fashion shows.....not for a regular day around town. Her priorities are so messed up.

That's not true. While I don't agree that there is much extraordinarily "nice" in regards to her, I've yet to see her Fans speak constructively about her. It's always she's so nice without a word to back up the opinion. It's difficult for everyone else to agree with a statement that has no basis. A girl that takes thousands of pics of herself day after day after day; if she's out of the house, she's always SHOPPING - yipee yay! Takes a real sweetie to head over to Mich Ave. to spend Nik's money,  in a taxi cuz she can't drive. When her family could have used her as a stronghold in their grief, she was too busy being a super sweetie, smashed with the WAGS. So what was that about Elina being so nice? Unless the person can't write in English, it probably ain't Elina. Same for the few friends she has.  

Yeah her life is probably easy, she has a lot of things good..  but she probably gets so bored sometimes. ESP in Chicago..just sitting around at home. Thats why she takes 9 million self portraits.

I sympathize with where you're coming from, but think you'll change your tune just as soon as you find your bliss. IF Elina were happy living in the shadows of her NHL bf/ fiance, and proud of her lifestyle, she wouldn't need the constant daily validation from teenage strangers, that she was pretty, lived in a cool house, had so much fun and had great clothes. As much as the easy life she leads seems so enticing, I don't think 99.9% of American females aspire to live at the mercy of someone else.

A closet of bags, a discombobulated array of accessories  and a sea of clothes doesn't equal a fullfilling life. There's something quite special to finally achieve a goal, receive a degree or two, land a career, become something other than someone's gf or wife.

If Elina was proud of accomplishing nothing other than the ability to live off of someone's livelihood and talent, I don't think she would be blogging her daily outfits while making obnoxious faces for the camera. What is more boring than putting on a dress and creating a video of you walking up and down the hallway as though you're a lion in a cage at the zoo. The difference is, the lion is an animal in captivity. Elina put herself in her caged existance, not the other way around.

the more pics she takes the less I find her pretty. its weird, she is actually kind of weird looking.

i wouldnt be surprised if the hawks needed to move some money if Nik was sent packing, bowman didnt mention him in his top four D and I dont think he had that great of a season.

Just like the thousands of puss face pics she takes of herself and daily - they're redundant beyond belief. Elina puts self-absorbtion to shame with the daily rituals of posed photos for her blog. All ready know what her summer will consist of. Nothing new there.

Along with several other flaws that people on here intensely argue about, Elina is pigeon-toed. When she wears obnoxiously high heeled shoes and can barely walk, her pigeon-toes appear worse. Look at her bikini photo in Tunisia...she's standing comfortably pigeon-toed. That's her naturally. She never had corrective shoes. Beautiful, eh?

Reply-to:It is what it is. Opinions, truth, reality and the obvious are not mean due to their lack of the lovely. Accolades are given to those who deserve them via hard work, natural inclination or mere effort. Elina doesnt fit into either of these modes. From what I see, shes lazy and unwilling to change. Having an athlete on ones arm doesnt change ones identity, whether the athlete is a nice or mean person. We are individuals with our own identity. From what I see of Elinas, theres not much good I can lend her. For whats it worth, she found a bachelorette party for WAGS more important than her grandmas funeral. ACTIONS speak louder than words. Mean or otherwise, it is what it is.  

I agree whole-heartedly. Elina tweeted about people being jealous of her, and people on here get called 'mean' simply for stating the truth. She leeches off of Niklas's money and it's cool if he wants to spend it on her, but since when is that respectable or worthy of admiration? I admire ladies like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who earned her fortune on her own since she was 16, who has an amazing dress sense, who can walk around with no make-up and look as beautiful as ever and who genuinely has an interesting and charming personality. That's a woman who's worthy of admiration. Not a girl who essentially just spreads her legs, makes the bed and picks up a credit card. Elina is dull and dimwited and not funny or charismatic at all. And you don't need a lifetime of knowing her to figure that out. She's a total airhead who only looks as 'good' as she does because of her boyfriend's money. Unintelligent, Unnatural, Uninteresting. Fact.

It has become clear to me that there are some mean people in the world, and would hate just because they can. I'm not here to insult any of you, nor am I here to try to change your mind about anyone -or- anything....

The world needs to be a better place and the change starts right here with you in your heart, rather than spread sickness and mean comments why don't we start being nicer and love each other whether you are dating Sami Lepsito, Dan Carcillo, Steve Montador, or whoever! Please remember that people are people, and I encourage you to start spreading love instead of hate.

First they are talking about Carcillos GF because shes 'fat', now they are talking about Elina saying mean nasty things... So it just goes to show that no matter what you do, no matter how much love you try to give people... they are just going to hate on you just because they can.

A Dr. Seuss book is more difficult to read than Elina. No confident, comfortable-in-one's-own-skin person has a blog to showcase daily mall-type purchases on a made-up puss face with a matching Twitter acct. All it takes to satisfy the curiousity of a teenybopper highschooler is to wave a lot of greenbacks in their face. Quite simple.

As far as who she really is, you're correct, Soph, she's a homemaker. Wanting people to think she's more doesn't cut it or assuming she will piggyback Nik's accomplishments,  isn't happening either.

I seriously doubt Nik is smart enough to know that displaying shopping bags (trash) on a shelf is bizarre and that photographing one's closet to show the grand total of one's "private life" is a bit strange. He has a full-time maid & bed warmer. For now, that's all he needs and can comprehend.  

While I realize Elina and I live on 2 very different planets and our lifestyle choices couldn't be more oppositional, I see a very disturbed young lady in Elina. What in the world are the empty shopping bags for that are lined up along the top shelf, and the shoeboxes as well. Is it the validation she receives when she walks in her closet that she has brand name clothes and accessories? Are they for rememberance that Nik allows her to shop for Tory Burch, or they for her blog readers to acknowledge that Nik's a millionaire and spending a small amt on her? Then the Louis Vuitton and Gucci bags set out in clear view as room accessories that she photographs...where should therapy begin? I get that she is proud of her home and should be - that's where she spends A TON of time. However, when she pops out the camera for a room and wardrobe pictoral, that screams to me that she wants validation and it better be positive for her very fragile, sensitive psyche.

Vet's right. If Elina was a confidant girl, she wouldn't give a hoot what a bunch of strangers say about her life, her tastes, her intelligence (or lack thereof), her choices. We all know, she's anything but confident, and therefore thrives on the adulation of teenagers and gawkers who think they want that lifestyle.

By the time she's 30, which isn't that far off, no one will care, including the teenyboppers who never saw a bright future for themselves.

It's difficult to imagine her family missing her, as it seems apparent they cannot rely on her for anything beyond Nik. It's not like Nik's existence provides comfort to their lives. Grandma dies, but Elina can't seem to drag her ass to Sweden. She couldn't spring for the $1200 plane ticket? Didn't have the motivation to call for a car to the airport? What is there for her parents to miss? She's about as useful to them as if she didn't exist. Selfish and lazy is not a trait family is going to admire.

Elina has a habit of trolling on this site and deleting the posts and pics she doesn't like. She'd delete the entire site as she did once, but might not have the smarts needed to know how to hit the delete button.

Either she's fooling everyone with a fascination with shopping and taking pics of herself in the new purchases or she assumes everyone is as ignorant as she is. Her taste gets worse by the day. Someone should tell her that just because it's on the rack at a Chicago store, doesn't mean it's attractive and meant to be worn by her.
