They are not releasing the baby's name. He never gives out anything of a real sensitive nature like that. Someone did post here that their newborn weighed 7 lbs 2 oz, though. Hopefully that was okay with them, though because info like that would really only come from either people close to them (like best friend or blood) or the medical staff involved. Maybe RR gave the info out on HNIC. They were the group that said he wasn't playing Thursday so that he could be with his wife during labour.

Gee whiz, give the guy a break. His wife was in labour Thursday night and he had to fly back from Vancouver. Being there with his new family is much more important than a game, right?

Just becasue you feel his wife doesn't fit your stero-type doesn't mean you should make fun of her or tear her apart.

She is a beautiful woman and very sure and confident in herself and that's what we need more of in this world.

I have nothing but respect and my senceirest wishes for the both of them.

I didn't pick up on that. Interesting, I never thought that the pressure got to him in a significant way. The impression I felt watching that interview was elitism...surliness. A good idea to be reminded that these are only humans choosing to work under immense pressure...also, just because someone is not emoting their real feelings in a more obvious way doesn't mean they're not experiencing them. Good.

I don't think he said anything that was ignorant nor was acting ignorant. He was clearly distraught when being interviewed and was slightly irritated by repeat questions, but who wouldn't be? I thought he handled himself very well. I don't understand your comments at all.

A seriously ignorant attitude during the after game interviews. It looks so nasty on a former golden boy like RR. It's almost sad, he used to be kind of a normal nice guy, now he's dishing out rude comments on air.
