Everytime you ready an article on Gomez (like last month's story in the Montreal Gazette), its always about how hes having a bad season, how he feels bad about it, telling fans to try to be patient, how hard he is on myself, wants forgiveness and NOONE CARES MORE THAN HIM about the teams success!!!!!!!???? Is this guy HIGH or what??? STFU and stop apologizing and play the game!!!! That's Good old Gomez, always smiling and trying to play to play the sympathy card...The truth is there, Two years of BS hockey with no skills, low points and no determination for the habs!!! Exactly!  If his ex is married and having a baby with some other athlete then this didn't happen yesterday!  She moved on aggges ago!  He's not settled in Montreal, he had an awful season, this year ain't much better, maybe just doesn't have it anymore!  :0(

As a NYR  fan,I feel for the Habs.What I don't get is how the f*ck did we manage to palm this useless Jack Ass off for McD.Did Sather pay the Habs to take him? I don't see how anyone would think of taking this albatross.How in the hell!?!

When will the Canadien's hierarchy relieve us of the misery of having to watch Scott Gomez come on to the ice. He is a liability in any situation and not only has he lost the confidence of the fans but also confidence in his own missing ability. Send him down so we can enjoy the game.

Moving on? Doubtful. Anyone that knows him knows that he and Joy have been on and off for years. Those two just can't stay away from each other!!!

Habs should've let Gomez spend the year in Hamilton.  They'd still have to pay his outrageously overpaid salary but at least it wouldn't go against the cap and we could sign someone that could contribute in some way to the team.

He certainly doesn't seem very settled in Montreal!  Looks like karma came back to bite him on his ass!  He'll probably not change or settle down until he finishes playing hockey, lots of the guys, Cammy, Gio, Gill, all meet their wives/long term gf's before they became huge players!

Gomer is just lovin the lifestyle, but letting it affect his game far too much!  Probably why they invited him to the camp, but never picked him for the last Olympic Team!

Actually, that sounds about believable. Normally I don't get involved in the punk bunny drams, but when he was in Jersey he was with her for years and at one point they were even engaged. This was around the 06 Olympics. Not going to name drop her but I am sure some of you may know who I am referring to. She recently got married, and while he is quite a womanizer, I do truly feel just because of what I have been told by friends within his circle and close knit Devils season Ticket holders who got to know some of the players on a off ice basis, that perhaps their breakup DID cause that downward spiral with women and his On Ice performance. Going to New York in the spotlight was a bad move on his part. Perhaps her recent marriage had also really gotten to him. This is just my opinion, but as someone who followed his career since he was drafted, who knows a bit of insider info from legit sources it kind of makes sense.
